Have you noticed your social media feed, office, or local coffee shop filling up with women dressed in red today – International Women’s Day. A  movement encouraging women to wear red to show their solidarity with the movement “The day without woman”  normally International woman’s day is represented with color’s of White, green & purple. But red is taken over to call attention to what it would be like without woman for one day. Read more here.

International Women’s Day is a worldwide event that celebrates women’s achievements – from the political to the social – while calling for gender equality. It has been observed since the early 1900s and is now recognized each year on March 8.
