Hello Pretty Ladies,

With all the different styles of jeans on trend this season, I thought it would be fun to share with you the types of sweaters that are trending because of the jean styles, as well as some great sweaters for the Holidays and how you can style them. 

I headed to Station Park in Farmington, Ut. To shop this year’s sweater trends. Hitting, Nordstrom Rack, H&M, Evereve, Bohme, and Alter’d State. 

Here’s what I purchased:

H&M

-Fair Isle Sweater in black & gray 

-embellished sweater -sweater dress

-striped Tunic

– Fair Isle sweater in neutrals,

-Cropped sweater

 -Open Cardigan slightly cropped with statement sleeves, 

-Mid-length open-front cardigan.

Tips on how to style Sweaters with Jean Styles

11 Trending sweaters for this fall’s hottest jean styles.

-Mid-length cardigan sweaters- pair well with boyfriend jeans, straight leg and skinny’s 

-Tunic sweaters- pair well with skinny’s and skinny straight legs and leggings.

-Cropped sweaters pair well t with High rise jeans & flares

-Open, front hip-length cardigans pair well with flares and straight leg 

-The vest looks great with wide legs and straight legs

-Sweaters that have the essential fit and fold under at the hip pair great with straight-leg jeans, skinnies, and cargo

Fair isle sweaters are coming in strong for the Fall and Winter seasons. We started seeing them a couple of years ago, just a touch. Now, they’re everywhere and in every color, most common in the traditional hip-length sweater style, tunics, and sweater dresses. 

How I Styled:

Here is a fair isle sweater under $30, great to wear with straight-leg jeans or skinny jeans, even cargo pants ( these are Chico’s wax-coated slim leg ). Both fit tts Paired with hoops, Chelsea boots with lug soles, a $59 Dolce Vita, and a puffer bag.

A tunic sweater is a great style to wear with your favorite skinny jeans and tall boots. Skinny jeans are not going anywhere. They are just styled differently and worn with tall boots.

How I Styled:

Here I’ve styled this multi-colored striped sweater from H&M, station Park With distressed Skinny Jeans and tall Vincent Cumto boots, with a touch of Western vibe, and brought out the orange with a pop of color bag and earrings.

Sweater dresses have a big moment and can be layered in many different ways. From work to casual and a great option for the Holidays. I personally love them layered with the longer shacket that are style trending for Fall and Winter.

How I styled this H&M sweater dress:

Paired this grey sweater dress with an Evereve long Shacket, tall boots, and a lack of color hat.

Embellished sweaters -with rhinestones or pearls, on soft cashmere feeling sweaters. Make for a great Holiday option, 

How I styled this H&M Rhinestones sweater:

Here I have paired with Faux leather crop pants and healed booties, Rhinestones earrings, perfect for Office parties, Thanksgiving dinners, or upcoming Holiday parties.

Sweater vest -with a twist, last year we saw the pullover v-neck sweater vest come in strong. This year we’re seeing it as a button-up. Cute to wear alone as a top or over a shirt left open or 1/2 buttoned. An excellent option for those who live in warm Fall temperatures. 

How I styled it:

Styled here with Wide leg cropped denim and Chelsea boots. It was buttoned up. And square hoops from uncommon James.

Statement sleeve-Here is an open-front cardigan with statement sleeves by Madewell sweater from Nordstrom Rack under $80 is great to wear with flare pants (these are Spanx ). I love that the flare adds length to your leg, and the open front hits the hip to flow Both fit tts

How I styled them:

Worn with a cami, rock stud ValentinoAnd paired with Halloween jewelry, you could switch to rhinestones for a holiday look.

Preppy– This style fits like a regular sweater worn with a hem fold under and pairs great with straight-leg jeans or this season’s plaid pencil pants. A shirt can be worn underneath for a fun layering look.

How I styled it:

Here is v neck preppy cable sweater under $70, perfect with straight-leg jeans. Here wear the Zara side slit straight leg  Great worn alone or with a shirt underneath! Paired with a paper boy hat “lack color” and my favorite Sam Edelman sandals on a significant sale.
