The cooler mornings and evenings, the smell of the air, and the changing of the leaves are just a few things I am looking forward to. Today, I want to share Cabana life’s spf50 eyelet dress styled a little western for Fall.

Cabana Life clothing doesn’t have to be resort wear or summer clothing. You can easily give their pieces a new look by adding different accessories or laying them up. Here I said western boots, a big Fall trend, and a cowboy hat. On a chilly day, you could add a denim jacket. What To Wear, When Transitioning From Summer To Fall

Hello Pretty Ladies,

Hoping your week is going well. I came off a fantastic trip with my mom and sister to deal with some significant family and home issues, and I feel a little overwhelmed and sad. Knowing we all have things to deal with, sometimes it feels like when it rains, it pours. I know we have to put all our faith and trust in God in times like these. (If you are a prayer warrior, we could sure use them)

When you have a career in social media, everything always seems to be perfect, and I think it’s important to share real life. I believe that is what sharing and being transparent is about. I always try to be positive and smile, but that is who I am. Even when the world around you seems to be crashing, you can always find the good. So remember when life seems complicated (we all have those periods), and it could always be worse.

With that being said, that might be why you don’t see me personally poping into stories as often. Just know I appreciate you. Thank you for being in my tribe and for your love and support. I hope you had a great weekend. I just got home from a great road trip with my mom and sister (more on that next week.) Nothing like spending time with family and checking off places on your bucket list. What’s on your bucket list?

Today, I am sharing a quick little Fall Target Haul. Three outfit inspirations you can mix and match all season long. Affordable pieces, all under $40.00. A perfect Cardigan, easy-to-wear skinny jeans, button-up shirt, clogs, and an oversize bag. Pieces you’ll wear all season long. Think of all the ways you could wear each part and how you can mix and match them. Clogs are a big fall trend, and the cardigan is super soft, has pockets, and makes for a great layering piece.

Another cardigan for fall layering is grey-washed skinny jeans without any distressing, a graphic tee, quilted slip-on tennis shoes, and a faux leather backpack. This look is great for many occasions, Saturday style, back-to-school, and casual coffee dates. Mix and match these pieces all season long.

Look 3 is a great comfy travel outfit, casual sports outfit, or easy lounge outfit. Comfortable sweat pants that come in several colors, oversized, so size down. Paired with a rocker graphic tee and a left-open button, add a styling element. I 3 dressing in odd numbers, just like in designs 3,5 and 7, adds interest and dresses up the outfit a touch. ( not that sweats and a tee are dressy, the button-up adds an extra element.)

I hope you had a great week and are looking forward to the weekend as much as I am. This week did fly by, and I can’t believe how fast the summer is going. We’re headed to the rodeo tonight, which is one of my favorite summer things to do. It’s Utah’s Pioneer Day this weekend (Utah’s celebration of the pioneers arriving in the state.) 7 Items you need to update your Summer Wardrobe!

Hello Pretty Ladies, I hope you have a great start to your week. Today, I have a fashion segment on Good Things Utah. I have chosen to share with you the 7 Items you need to update your Summer Wardrobe on the segment! Of course, it’s always great to use what you have and “shop your closet,” but adding a few pieces to “freshen up your Summer wardrobe” can be affordable and give your wardrobe a minor update.

Update your Summer Wardrobe

1. Oversized button up-

white or stripe for the coastal vibe or bright and colorful. Great to style with shorts, over a tee shirt dress, or worn with linen pants. Every wardrobe needs a good button-up.

It hits right above the knee (reminder, I am 5’9 1/2), perfect to wear over a swimsuit or dress it up for a summer date night or lunch with the girls.

I’ve paired it with neutral accessories, a straw bag, and strap sandals, but you could easily pair it with a pop of color for a different Summer vibe.

Strapless Dress with Ruffled Hem

Little black strapless dress $19.99. I love a good strapless dress. Strapless dresses are easy to throw on over a swimsuit, and you can quickly wear them from the pool to lunch. This dress is a touch see-thru, so I wore a little slip underneath; not necessary if you wear it for a swimsuit cover-up.

I’ve styled it to wear on a little afternoon date with my hubby—a denim jacket with pearl details for a little more dressed-up feel. I finished off the look with black quilted slides (old). This two-piece Amazon short set was styled by just using the two pieces, A kimono, and shorts. This look is easily accomplished by adding A bodysuit or tank top, cute sandals (I am wearing Tory Burch Millers), a straw bag, and Fun tropical earrings.

Easy outfit look for vacation, site seeing, shopping, and even worn over a bathing suit to the pool.

Outfit number two was created with the shorts from the two-piece set. Paired with a black blazer, the same Spanx bodysuit, and accessorized with Black open-toed Vince Camuto booties, a leather clutch, and finished off with gold jewelry.

The blazer gives the printed shorts a more polished look and takes this look to Summer chic versus summer vacation. Outfit number two is one of my favorite looks for summer.
