5 Spring Questions: We’ve Got Favorites For!

5 Spring Questions: We’ve Got Favorites For!

Hello Pretty Ladies,

The other night on our Chit chat chic Live, we had a fun “show and tell ” 5 Spring Questions: we’ve got Favorites For! And We thought it would make for a great blog post, with all the information and products shared. So, below is a recap of what we shared in case you missed it or needed a refresh. (Shop this outfit above Here)

1. Share a trendy accessory you’re loving right now.

Accessories are a big LOVE for me. They really do finish off an outfit and show your personality. I love a big statement ring, Arm Candy has always been a favorite, and this is 2 of my daily arm Stacks lately …My go-to earrings are always hoops… Classic, work with every hairdo, and really never go out of style. I tend to purchase from Kendra Scott, Uncommon James, Gorjana. I also have several Micheal Kor’s. As I love the quality and they always have great styles.

5 Spring Questions: We’ve Got Favorites For!

The ring finger is a 24-carat gold ring from Cartier ( I linked an affordable similar ring )  middle is Tiffany, the pointer is Kedra Scott on my wrist is a Diamond Tennis bracelet, layered with a Kendra Scott, and MiGnon Faget bracelet.

Some of my Favorite pieces, and go to Rings are below:

Arm candy Bracelettes:

Below are my go-to Hoops, which I repeatedly wear, with the beaded ones above my latest obsession…I have in Cream and just ordered the white.

2. What spring/summer sandal style will you wear (or are you already)?

Can I say, “I love Sandal season!”  I don’t think you could ever have too many pairs!  So, with that said! I will share what I’ve purchased this year, what I’ve been already wearing to Death, and the classic sandals I wear every year and add a new color to the mix.

Below are the styles I’ve already purchased and worn to death these last two months already.

Below are the sandals I have just recently purchased below:

The Miller Sandal by Tory Burch is an all-time classic and truly looks great with everything all Spring and Summer. But, if I were only to buy one sandal all year, I’d pick these. (I purchased my first pair in black leather over 8-9 years ago.) I believe (when they first came out) and have since added White, red, and natural.

Here’s a couple of outfit inspirations wearing THE MILLER sandal below:

3. What’s your favorite retail store currently? And why?

This question truly is hard… because it depends on what you are looking for. So I am turning it around to where I’ve been shopping lately and what I have purchased!

4. What do you like to wear to sleep in?

Cami and short sets are my go too. I love a chemise and, on occasion, a PJ pant set, but it has to be super soft, and I do like the cool nights by Soma. I am very tactile and like my pj’s to be very soft, including lace. And I really like a cami-style strap.

My favorite brands are:

–Soma

–Adore Me

–Hanky Panky

–PJ Harlow

-Pj salvage

–PrintFresh

Print fresh & Pj Salvage I wear Around House and lounging (I do not sleep in). I adore their patterns and styles—these work to be comfy and cute around the house as a mom of boys.

5. Hats or no hats?

If you follow me, you already know the answer! Hat adoring girl here! I’ve collected hats since Jr. High school, and I still have some of them! I adore a good hat of any style. From Ball caps, beanies to Felt and straw! I will definitely spend good money on a high-quality hat, but that doesn’t mean I won’t grab an affordable, trendy one.

Here are a few of my All-time favorite hats, and a couple of my latest purchases:

Self-Tanner season, 2 New body products by Tula to help!

Hello Pretty ladies,

Can you believe we are at the end of March already? I honestly can’t. It flew by for me. I know I had a lot going on with three trips and Our son’s birthday. But, it helped make a month that usually drags on for me fly by.

March has also been unusually warm in Utah, which makes me happy. There is nothing like longer sunny days to help you get in the mood for Spring. Spring means Spring break, warmer vacations, pretty dresses, and simpler clothing. Which also means a need for Self Tanner in a big way for me? How about you?

I was so excited Tula launched a New body product line to help you Hydrate and polish your skin. Perfect timing for prepping your skin for self-tanners. In Utah, it’s so dry we need all the help we can get. Still, it’s essential to have buffed, exfoliated, and hydrated skin before applying self-tanner for the tanner to go on smooth and streak-free. Happy to introduce Tula’s Advanced Hydrating body moisturizer & Revitalizing Exfoliating body wash.

Advanced Hydrating Body moisturizer,  this buttery cream instantly hydrates skin, leaving a natural, luminous glow that feels soft & supple—never greasy or sticky. Skincare-first ingredients yuzu & Vitamin C help improve the look of tone and texture, while hyaluronic acid & ceramides deeply moisturize and help improve skin softness. A subtle, comforting vanilla coconut scent makes this a body routine staple. So give the other 90% of your skin the kindness & indulgence it deserves.

Revitalizing Exfoliating Body Wash, This instant refresh for the body deeply cleanses and buffs away dull skin with lemon peel and hibiscus flower acid, improving the look of skin texture and tone—and providing a refreshing scent. In addition, three powerhouse AHAs help skin appear brighter. So lather up and get glowing with this skincare-first essential.

6 Easy Neutral Outfits for Spring

Hello pretty Ladies,

It’s no secret that I love Neutrals, and I can’t tell you how happy I am. Neutrals are a big trend this spring. A Neutral palette makes it easy to mix and match to create chic outfits with ease. So today, I am sharing 6 Easy Neutral Outfits for Spring with you.

You can easily get inspiration from these looks, try to think what you have in your closet that is similar, and create the outfit from what you may already have in your wardrobe. Of course, Adding a couple of new pieces to your wardrobe every season is fun. I provided the shopping links as well.

6 Easy Neutral Outfits for Spring

High-waisted, wide-leg jean looks great with the Spanx bodysuit. The fitted bodysuit helps balance the wide leg of the jean. Also, notice how the cropped Free people sweater is tapered at the waist, again adding balance. This is a great “rule” to follow when wearing a high waist and a wide leg.

Shop the Look Below:

6 Easy Neutral Outfits for Spring

A classic Spring a Summer look, White jeans, and a denim shirt. Again I am wearing the Spanx white bodysuit. It really is a great basic layering piece. I love good white jeans (I actually own several styles of white jeans). They are slightly cropped with a baby flair, great with a strappy sandal. This Denim Shirt HERE

Shop the look below:

Nothing says Spring like a jersey dress (this cami slip jersey dress is a deal at $15). A great way to dress it up and add some style is to layer with this year’s Spring trend =Faux Leather. I Found this fab faux leather shacket in Nola, and I knew it was a piece I would wear for years. This piece is so affordable under $50. Layering Neutrals adds texture and a richer feel.

Note* These are a must-have shoe and have been a BEST seller for me for the last three weeks! So comfortable, and I have been wearing them on repeat! They look good with everything.

Shop the look below:

6 Easy Neutral Outfits for Spring

Here are a couple of my favorite pieces from last year that have been restocked! The Free people Dupe, white button-up $20 I purchased two of them last year because they’re that good! Another staple piece from last year brought back is the Maggie jean. These high-waisted distressed cropped jeans come in several colors and washes (I own at least 4 of them). I love pairing a classic preppy style or feminine look with the distressed.  Also restocked from last year is the Braided kitten heal and on SALE $38

The vest was huge this fall, and it works great for Spring. Just layer with Neutrals for a fresh look.

Shop this Look below:

6 Easy Neutral Outfits for Spring

Classic all white linen layers over the Spanx bodysuit (again). White linen pants you’ll wear on repeat (can you believe these are the old navy pants?) A great tip to dress up basics, Add a great bag, shoes, and accessories.

Shop the look below:

6 Easy Neutral Outfits for Spring

The Flaired jean-Risen jeans are $69, so affordable for great quality jeans. Super soft, great stretch (size down). I would normally suggest wearing a fitted top with flared jeans. Here’s the one exception, A Boho vibe allows for a little flowy, this top hits at the hip bone, which helps balance the wide bottom.  (Note my best selling shoe) I could have worn this shoe with every one of the outfits above.

What I've Purchased Lately

Hello pretty Ladies,

Today, I am sharing a few items, “What I’ve purchased lately” Pieces for our home, a couple of Items Cozy items to wear perfect for Spring weather, and a cute Jumpsuit for that upcoming warm-weather vacation.

I love a little refresh for Spring for our home and my wardrobe. In Utah, it’s still cold until the end of April, and you do need layers, sometimes just light layers. So  I added in a couple of warm and cozy pieces in my favorite neutral shades. I found a cute jumpsuit for Spring break and something I’ll wear all Summer long. I love getting a new pair of house slippers for the season, and I found these cute slippers in white for $12.00. Our home needed a couple of little pieces,s and Spring is the perfect time for a little freshen up.

  1. Office Lamp= As you know, I moved my home office upstairs, and I have been adding finishing touches to the space. I found this tremendous chic and straightforward lamp that adds the light I need to my desk and the communication of gold and marble base for that stylish feminine touch I am looking for.
  2. The Perfect Mirror= Something on my Wish list is this Large Anthropology mirror I will get for our new home. Meanwhile, I purchased the small one for my office, and I adore it! Perfect for checking your makeup or those hats I love.
  3. Candle– Capri Blue Volcano candle is one of my all-time favorite scents. It smells excellent any time of the year. I usually burn them in the Spring and Summer as I like fall and winter scents for those seasons. You will not be disappointed in this long-burning candle.
  4. Water bottle=The water bottle that keeps you on track hourly. If you had a goal to drink more water this year? This bottle is for you! It fits in your car’s drink holder, is easy to hold, and keeps track of your water hourly. I have loved this water bottle compared to the one I purchased a couple of years ago.
  5. Turtleneck tunic= A Super soft and lightweight Tunic in Cream and the perfect weight for Spring in Utah. I received one from Avara in Blush in January and loved it so much I purchased it in Cream.
  6. Jumpsuit= This strapless jumpsuit is flattering and cute for Spring and Summer. I love the crisp white, cropped wide leg and flattering strapless top—a great wide belt to accentuate the waist.
  7. Slippers= Who doesn’t want new slippers for each season, especially when you can get these cuties for under $12. I purchased it in white.
  8. Cozy Cardigan=, The perfect shade of oatmeal, goes with almost everything and is a much-needed layering piece for Spring. I have worn over my pj’s at home and on travels, thrown on over everyday outfits, and it’s cute over tee shirt dresses and a shirt dress. You’ll love this cozy soft layering piece.
  9. Laundry basket= I finally found a laundry basket that looks beautiful sitting out and has the function I need. You’ll love it too.

Easy to make No-Bake Energy Balls

Easy to make No- Bake Energy Balls

Hello Pretty Ladies,

Happy Sunday! Today I thought I would share a quick and easy recipe for “In the Kitchen with D’Arcy” I don’t know about you, but I love a good recipe that could be made fast, has a ton of flavor, is healthy, and that my family will gobble up.

These easy-to-make, No-Bake, Energy Balls are all of that and more. It takes about 10 mins to make. I add Chia seeds to mine for extra fiber. (Important to add more fiber when you are a midlifer). I have found we like Trader Joe’s Chia and Flax seeds. I shared a fun “How to Reel” on Instagram.

Easy to make Energy Ball

Easy to make Energy Ball

2 cups rolled oats

1 cup chocolate chips ( we like dark Chocolate)

1 cup ground flax seeds

1/2 cup Chia seeds

1 cup peanut butter (smooth or chunky)

1/2 cup honey or maple syrup

One tablespoon vanilla extract

Combine all ingredients in a bowl: Form into 1 inch balls with hands or a small ice cream scoop.

Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and freeze until set (about 1hour)

For an extra touch, you can dip in Chocolate.

For simple Chocolate

Melt 1 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of butter in the microwave and stir.

Dip 1/2 of a ball into….

We like Trader Joe’s Flaxseed and Chia seeds.

So, you too could have a Versona coming near you soon. But, until then, you can shop Versona online with ease.

We were treated to a gift card to pick an Item. Below, you’ll see one outfit I created in my beloved Neutral color pallet (something I think will be BIG for Spring). House Floats are all over New Orleans (most near Magazine street). They took over for the canceled parades due to covid last year. So instead of people gathering for parades, you could drive around and look at the house parade. AKA  House Floats… People loved it so much they continued to do it again this year. Mignon Faget’s House float was Amazing, as were so many. We just didn’t have time to stop and take photos. There were so many over-the-top decorations, but we had a lot of one-way streets and an appointment we had to get to.

Baton Rouge Towne Center at Cedar Lodge

Loft

THE LOFT, Women’s Fashion from feminine to casual, has been in business for over 20 years and has hundreds of storefronts in both outdoor and indoor mall locations. Loft at Towne Center treated us to a fun shopping and try-on session. The staff created try-on racks before our arrival, with the latest Spring fashion making it easy for us to spot and try on the latest pieces.

I always like to browse the shop and check out the displays, as that is one of the fun parts of shopping. Also, how I make sure not to miss something! In which I found these Navy Joggers, I knew at first glance that they would be like my favorite Level 99 joggers (in Camo) I found last year, and the Loft ones are 1/2 the price. Score! When trying them on in hopes they’d fit like my favorite pair, They did and I wished they had in several colors. (online they have Navy and Grey) Lisa and Cammi grabbed a pair as well. I told them they’d be their favorites and sure enough, they’ve worn on repeat.

What We Wore On Our Girls Trip?

What We Wore On Girls Trip?

Hello Pretty Ladies,

Are you ready for some fun Spring fashion? The second blog post on our New Orleans trip is about what we wore. The Brands we worked with, and some fun Fresh Spring Styles. We were lucky to work with some great Small business brands launching their brand New Spring arrivals and bring them to you first. We also worked with some well-known larger brands to bring you a variety. All the Chic Chat Chic Girls’ styles should be in stock and ready to ship. Perfect for you to take on your next trip, or add some Spring to your wardrobe!

Social Threads

A fun small business that carries great quality clothing and accessories at affordable prices. All of us girls are wearing the BEST selling Risen jeans in the same style, a vegan messenger bag in various colors, and a fun printed bag strap. (Look how cute the straps are! They make the bag!) Of course, we each got to pick a top of our choice as well.

Our Risen Jeans are soft, easy to wear, run big, and size down. The fun frayed hem gives edgy detail, great to pack on a trip, with so many ways to style. You’ll want this bag for your next vacation, as it holds everything hands-free and stays close to your body.

Social Threads gets new merchandise weekly, has several restocks on their best sellers a month, and has great fast shipping.  Everything I get from Social Threads I wear on repeat. You’ll love supporting small by shopping with them.

I chose the small messenger bag in black and leopard strap, as I knew it would work with a lot of my outfits and works well with so many looks. I finished the look with Valentino slides and a great hat adorned with the Gucci headband and gold accessories.

Where to Eat and Stay in New Orleans

Where to Eat and Stay in New Orleans 1st in our New Orleans series.

Where to Eat and Stay in New Orleans

Hello Pretty Ladies,

The Chit Chat chic girls just got back from a fun Galentine’s trip to New Orleans, as many of you know. So today, all the girls are sharing Where to eat and stay in New Orleans, and we will share where to shop, fun things to do and what we wore in a couple of other posts. So think of it as our New Orleans Series.

Where to Eat and Stay in New Orleans. What comes to mind when you say New Orleans? Jazz, Mardi gras, The French Quarter, Beignets,(recipe here) Pralines, (recipe here) Craw Fish, Beads, and Hurricane Drinks? (recipe here) That’s what I think of when I think of New Orleans, and this trip did not disappoint. We stayed at the Royal Sonesta in the heart of the French Quater (one of NOLA’s most historic neighborhoods) on the corner of the famous Bourbon Street, where gaslights flicker on every street, and Old charm meets new.

The Hotel couldn’t have been more charming with the ornate Iron grillwork details of french architecture, pretty fountains and quart yards, Hotel Suites with french doors opening to overlook the pool. Beautiful details throughout the Hotel. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. They went above and beyond to make your stay a pleasant one.

Not only is the Royal Sonesta located in a convenient location, but The French Quater also has all the restaurants, bars, and shopping you could want. But you can easily walk to Canel street, Cafe DuMond, take a cruise down the Mississippi river, catch the trolly to the Garden District, or Magazine street for boutique shopping.

The Royal Sonesta conveniently has several restaurants on the property and The Jazz Play House for entertainment. Desire Oyster Bar, Bar R’evolution, and Pj’s Coffee

New Orleans is known for its good food. The taste of Nole is cajun driven with a lot of seafood, award-winning seafood gumbo, shrimp remoulade, po’boys, Beignets, Oysters, and a lot of flavors. So if you’re a foodie, you will enjoy your time in New Orleans.

The Jazz Play House, located on the property, has the sounds of the New Orleans embrace and charm. A vibrant nightlife with authentic jazz, serving drinks and bites. Michelle and I had the Elle Fitzgerald Martinis, and Cindy Had the French 45. The table shared a blue cheese wedge and crab cakes (Cammi needed to try out crabcakes at every restaurant!) Then finished off with a shared chocolate cheesecake.

NOTE: The Jazz Play House is a place to enjoy the music. It is not somewhere to go if you want to chat.

Desire Oyster Bar is located on the Hotels property. Oyster Bar offers diners one of the most authentic dining experiences in New Orleans.

The menu features

  • Fresh Gulf Seafood
  • Award-winning Gumbo
  • Variety of Po’boys
  • Shrimp Omelet Etoufee
  • Biscuits and Gravy
  • Oysters: fried, chargrilled, or on the half shell
  • Fried Chicken & Waffles
  • Louisiana Crab Cakes
  • Blackened Catfish Lafitte
  • Shrimp Remoulade

Cammi, Had the crab cakes, and she would say these were in the running for Best along with Francois. The table had the Fries with Etoufee & shrimp (they decided they were not Etoufee fans). Cindy & I Had a chopped salad with grilled chicken, blue cheese crumbles, and a side of fries. (All very good) (Cindy and I had a salad with chicken almost everywhere we went)

(Now… the Host,  let’s say they need a new one! He was the only rude/ no personable person in NOLA!) Thank goodness we only had a few minutes of him! The waitress made up for it. She was so sweet and very Happy!

Francois Grill & Bourbon Street Blues in Baton Rough

This restaurant is worth the drive to Baton Rouge from New Orleans. Located in the Perkins Rowe shopping district. (cute outdoor mall experience) Francois Grill is a cultural mix of Sicilian, French, and Cajun cuisine.

The onion rings were so good as a starter along with, You guessed it, Crab cakes:) The girls voted these the BEST crab cakes. I had the veggie omelet with a side of steamed veggies (cooked perfectly and with so much flavor) along with pan potatoes. A savory meal we all enjoyed. They have a full bar and live jazz music.

Bistro 77 is another excellent restaurant at Perkins Rowe in Baton Rouge. They are known for great drinks, charcuterie boards, and shared plates. Also serving delicious salads, known for gourmet flatbreads, and a great assortment of sandwiches and lobster mac and cheese. View the menu here

You guessed it, I had a salad, but not just any salad, a Spiced Pear and grilled chicken salad with an  Apple vinaigrette and spiced candied nuts. It was so good. Cindy chose the same salad with steak, and everyone else chose a different flatbread and enjoyed their picks.

With iron tables and chairs set all around the park and a small live Jazz band center stage. Statues of Jazz legends cast in Bronze cover the grounds. Curio

An American Cuisine with a creole soul, right around the corner from the Hotel. Recommended by the concierge at the Hotel. Had a fun Bar cafe vibe, with charming staff and great food. I had the Crispy Chicken salad with a balsamic dressing. The chicken was so yummy. I drank Ice tea by the gallon everywhere we went (unsweeten). Not a bad tea anywhere, all fresh, strong, and had free refills. The average price of every meal we had was about $18-20 for entree, Appetizers $10-15, Cocktail $7-15 with a tab for one, including a 20% tip of around $35 a meal.

5 Valentine's Looks From Avara

Hello Pretty Ladies,

I wanted to share 5 Valentine’s Looks From Avara. The CCC girls are sharing Favorite pieces or best sellers. These cute pieces from Avara have been my BEST sellers. Attractive Valentine or Winter looks from the Avara clothing boutique that you could wear for Valentine’s day or any Winter day. This cute online boutique has a storefront in Texas with darling and affordable clothing and accessories. It was easy to find cute items to share with you, and you know I love supporting and sharing small businesses. I hope you will check them out next time you want a little something new.

Maybe you will be inspired by these 5 Valentine’s looks or Winter looks to pick up a piece today! I wanted to share 5 looks with the same pair of distressed black jeans to show how versatile these jeans could be. You can make them look completely different just by how you style them. (that makes for a great travel piece too)

5 Valentine's Looks From Avara

Look #1 The sweetheart blouse paired with the distressed black skinny jeans, red booties, and finished off with heart sunglasses on top of the head (used as a hair accessory) Valentine earrings. The Shirt is true to size, and the cuff detail is so cute. The jeans are a little tight. I got my test, but you could size up. They stretch a touch.

Shop the look below:

Look #2 This look is great for any date night, not just Valentine’s day. Again, the skinny black jeans, paired with this tremendous off-the-shoulder sweater (could be worn not off the shoulder), could be sized down. I am in my TTS, but it does have a lot of Fabric. I have dressed it up with an essential black pump, clutch, designer sunglasses, and belt. Added Gold layered necklaces and Kendra Scott hoop earrings. ( I wear my Kendra Scott hoop earrings the most) I have about 5 pairs of her hoops, and they are my go too! (I will do a blog post on those)

Shop the photo below:

Look #3 Here. This cute puff sleeve blazer is so pretty very versatile. A Cream blazer with a touch of blush in it! So natural, you could pair it with anything from jeans to a dress! Here I paired it with a cami and the same jeans in all the photos. (size up in this blazer as it runs small.)

Drop it like it’s HOT…. Balancing Menopause and m Drop it like it’s HOT….

Balancing Menopause and midlife can be tricky✔️

From weight gain, mood swings, sleepless nights, dry skin and lady parts, hair loss, eyesight issues, bone loss to personal summers (hot flashes)…..

Boy hitting 40-50-60’s sounds fun 😅🤣 Actually, it really isn’t that bad, and life is what you make of it, Plus getting old is a privilege….

In today’s time, we’re lucky because menopause is a Topic WE TALK about NOW, and we have more information and resources to HELP us, unlike our mothers.

Not everyone has every symptom nor do they experience every symptom.

This is a topic I’ve shared a lot about over on my blog and in future more on my substack (join for free in my bio)

Below ⬇️ are a few things I’ve found very helpful from my journey over the last 10 years to now, starting at about 44 years old.

-A Homeopathic Hormone replacement specialist- I went at 44 when I gained 12-15 pounds for no reason, had hair loss and wasn’t feeling like myself and went on Bio- identical hormone replacement for about 4 years and the weight feel off and I started to feel like myself again. I stopped I. 2020 due to not being able to get to doctors..

-Start a good clean supplement program (not a Doctor) but here’s what helped me.
Magnesium- zinc- Vitamin D3- vitamin K
-a good women’s multivitamin -
B-12 shots- Collagen- Colostrum- bone marrow- probiotic, a cranberry supplement and - creatine - NAD- primrose (I have a few others I take as well) full list is on blog

- Doubled my water intake - (140-160 oz a day) added Fiber- chia seeds- pinch of salt to it … (I do 1/2 teaspoon baking soda twice a week)

-Daily walks and I added a weighted vest about 4 years ago

-A cup of warm lemon water to start the day

- I shoot for 100 grams of protein daily (I don’t always get this) I just try to get close

-Scalp treatments - Rosemary oil and rosemary supplements

- Coolnight pjs and cooling sheets I don’t get or experience hot flashes, but sleeping cooler help me sleep better❤️

- cleansing oil & after Shower oil help with dry skin

-Red light therapy mask helps facial skin and neck

- Derma-planing face helps skin texture and for products to sink in
Melanoma Skin Cancer Journey Here’s a couple thi Melanoma Skin Cancer Journey

Here’s a couple things I’ve learned on my Journey that I thought I’d share with you I found interesting and very helpful..
( now, I am not a doctor) these are things I’ve researched and though I’d share my findings, but you can do your own research :)

I share in hopes to bring awareness and the importance of getting your skin checked at least once a year.

‼️ 2 things:

-The importance of taking zinc— zinc supplements helps your body give off a natural defense to the suns rays.

⚠️ Like anything I need to stress how important it is to read your labels and start using clean Supplements. You want to get what you’re paying for and not “fillers” verses the actual minerals and herbs.

- A clean beauty mineral based
Sunscreen with a high level of Zinc! READ your labels and the ingredientsll

MOST sunscreens have harmful ingredients and hormone disruptors in them! I have 5 brands I love that me and my family use over on my Liketoknowit or you can comment “shop” and I’ll send them to you.

To know:

⚠️ I get my skin checked twice a year and since being diagnosed with melanoma, I now go every 3 months.

Since my surgeries, I’ve had 2 laser’s treatments to help with scaring (shown in slide 2 is my 2nd surgery) done 6 weeks ago.
I actually should have my 3rd laser done this week, but I moved it to July 1st.

To be honest I really am not in the head space to deal with another treatment this week! 🙏🏻 I told you I’d be very honest with you in this journey, and it is a roller coaster of emotions… Laser treatments sometimes trigger that for me.

- Laser treatment can be done every 6 weeks

⚠️I have 6 parts of my journey up in my feed, 3 of them pinned to top the others you’ll have to scroll through feed and I have detailed highlights as well.

I hope you find these helpful

POV: The Turkey sandwiches I make All summer long POV:
The Turkey sandwiches I make All summer long my family loves🥪

Not your ordinary Turkey, Avocado, tomato sandwiche🥪🥑🍅

First off the Key to these delicious sandwiches is warm crusty bread straight from the oven yet soft on the inside..

My tip is a French baguette ran under water (a tip my Mother in law taught me 33 years ago) placed in the oven for 5-7 minutes- seriously, makes it like you made it fresh…

-Boards head spicy pepper Turkey freshly sliced from the deli
- Farm Fresh Tomatoes salt & peppered
-Micro greens (or sprouts)
- Peppered jack cheese (or your favorite)
-My Smashed Avocado spread

Full recipe on my blog

A perfect summer meal to serve alfresco🪴🍽️

Serve with your favorite sides
I served with my :
-Basil corn salad
- a small charcuterie board
- my easy Blue cheese stuffed grape on a walnut appetizer

A long with your choice of sun tea - cucumber mint water or a sparking water 🥤🍃

Last leg of trip…2 days in Las Vegas

- A couple days poolside
- A couple meals out
-Some shopping (just a little)
- and yes, we had early nights in…

We’ve been to LV so many times, that we actually don’t enjoy it any more, it’s changed so much over the years, that we actually prefer to have pool time (eat at pool) stay close or at our hotel… Walking the strip is more scary then fun, and the restaurants aren’t what they used to be… people watching isn’t even fun anymore there:(

Lately, We just think of LV as a resting point before we drive the 6-7 long hours home.

Over the years I’ve shared several amazing LV hotels, restaurants and shopping spots…. Some of those are still good, but several have gotten run down and aren’t the same. I honestly don’t feel safe in LV and probably won’t have that be a resting point anymore.

If you’re a gambler or like shows … then LV probably still has appeal, People don’t dress up anymore, the top quality restaurants & hotels aren’t what they used to be, and over priced for what you get. (Trust me we’ve stayed at almost all of the resort’s multiple times)
I personally think there’s better places to visit.

😉This is my observation and opinion over the last several times & years we’ve been to Lv.

How do you feel about Las Vegas?
Have you been recently?

Sorry, not sorry for my honest review!

Day 3 Road Tripping Itinerary 🚗🌵🌴☀️🏜️ Our Last d Day 3 Road Tripping Itinerary 🚗🌵🌴☀️🏜️

Our Last day and evening in Mesa,Az before heading to Palm Springs, Ca.

We started out with grabbing a coffee & a little walk, then heading to the pool. Our goal this trip was relaxing in the sun ☀️ poolside☀️🌴While enjoying a little late afternoon early evening easy entertaining and good food…

Late afternoon we headed out to the golf course & then later to go on a garden walk and check out a couple local nurseries, before heading to dinner .

I love to see what grows in that area and learn a little. Plus it’s always beautiful 🌵🌺🌸🌵Did you know a good size catus is $2,000-5,000 and a decent size Palm tree starts at $7,500 to $15,000 and that was the sale prices.

We had a yummy Italian dinner at @pizzicatausa over looks the painted mountain golf course.

Then we went on an evening stroll at the golf course found a bench by the pond and had a cocktail to watch the sun set🌅🌵🍷
Perfect way to end the day ✔️

If you’re looking for an easy & Relaxing day, this is a perfect itinerary

Tomorrow morning we’re Off to Palm Springs, Ca. A 4 hour drive from Mesa.Az. 🌴🌺🚗☀️
