Great wardrobe builders and basics to dress up items you might all ready have in your closet. I love pieces that are on trend but aren’t really “trendy” by this I mean you can add any of these pieces to your wardrobe and have them to pull out for seasons to come. Classic white jeans, a denim jacket that is a perfect layering piece, a neutral bag in a fun shape, a basic chambray shirt, you really can’t go wrong! Add a fun bag & a statement earring to your closet favorites and it give your whole outfit the look of being all new! All 8 of these piece help build your wardrobe and give it a touch of Spring.
–Denim Skirt= Really this flattering skirt is chambray, soft and a flattering length that you can dress up or wear with tee shirt and flip flops. A great wardrobe staple piece. – Denim jacket =Perfect for layering and a great basic! Kut from the Kloth is my favorite, as I have stated before here and here for more styling options. It’s fit is so flattering and tapers in at the waist for a slimming effect.
–Wedge sandal =easy to wear elongates the leg and looks great with jeans to skirts! It’s a must have trend again this year. I can stand in these all day long, so comfortable!

Have you noticed your social media feed, office, or local coffee shop filling up with women dressed in red today – International Women’s Day. A movement encouraging women to wear red to show their solidarity with the movement “The day without woman” normally International woman’s day is represented with color’s of White, green & purple. But red is taken over to call attention to what it would be like without woman for one day. Read more here.

International Women’s Day is a worldwide event that celebrates women’s achievements – from the political to the social – while calling for gender equality. It has been observed since the early 1900s and is now recognized each year on March 8.

It is not affiliated with any one group, but brings together governments, women’s organizations, corporations and charities. The day is marked around the world with arts performances, talks, rallies, networking events, conferences and marches.

I am excited to say I will be spending the day with one of my long time girlfriend’s Meagan and we have some fun things in store after my tv segment Lunch, a Fashion show at Anthropologie and a night in Salt lake city.

It’s so important to have good girlfriends they make a great support team and even more important to spend some girl time with them…A little time away from your your family I believe makes you a better mom and wife. A little time for yourself is a much needed little break and what better way then with a good girlfriend!

Looks like we’re finally getting Winter in Utah! Just in time for me to share with you Winter boot’s that are trending for 2018 and a sneak peek at a couple of 2019’s trends.

I was lucky enough to work with Diamond Peak Mountain Sports in Eden to bring you this fun collection of 2018-2019 Winter snow boots by Sorel and The North Face. I love supporting local and small business they always have fun and unique items you won’t alway’s find at big box stores. The customer service and attention to detail at this fun Sport shop is amazing and is just one of the reasons this little shop is celebrating 25 years in business.

Winter snow boots have come along way over the years, not just functionable they’re fashionable too. Waterproof, lined to keep your feet warm but have style you can wear with any street outfit. Above you will find some of my favorite picks from 2018 and a couple from the 2019 collection. Getting a peek at 2019 collection is a special treat as these are not in stores yet these are samples of what the shops are getting to see and order for their next Winter season.

Can I tell you I am loving the Joanie lace, A wedge snow boot perfect for a snowy night on the town! Who would every think this was a Sorel snow boot? I love the fashion and Functionality of this cute little boot. (I’ll be pre-ordering a pair!)

Every little girl will want the Shades of pink mini Joan of arch Sorel boot coming out next winter. I predict this little number will sell out fast when it hits the sales floor.

The Cozy Joan, Winter Fancy Lace, Woman’s Shellista and Thermoball are all a great mid Ankle snow boot perfect for after skiing, walking around in snowy weather yet can be perfect with jeans and a sweater on a chilly day. Waterproof and cozy warm you’re feet will love you. Gone are the days of Chunky unfashionable not to mention ugly Snow boots. (1989 white snow cats by Sorel comes to mind) I know I am showing my age.

The Slimpack Riding Tall II Sorel boot is one of my favorite boots in Sorel’s line. Simple yet sleek! At first you don’t even realize this is a snow boot. It looks just like a chic riding boot! Fall textile trends you’ll love…Styling for Fox13 The Place today!

So excited to share the textile trend this Fall with you. This Fall you will be seeing a lot of Chunky knits, embroidery and Velvets. This will be on clothing, shoes and bags. I love that we’re seeing a lot of texture and that some old favorites are making a come back. As for you feet…booties are bigger than ever!

Styling Cute Fall Trends with Kut from the Kloth Clothing brand. If you have been following me for awhile you know I am a huge fan of Kut from the Kloth. They make a jean body for every figure and their fit is amazing. If you haven’t tried Kut…. You really must. If you had and didn’t LOVE… You must go try on another body style because there is a body style that will fit and YOU will LOVE.

Kut doesn’t just make denim… they make the cutest tops, jackets and dresses. The quality is Amazing washes up fabulous and has a classic timeless feel with current trends. I was very happy to do a whole fashion segment on just their brand as it’s one of my favorites. Seeing Dots…Polka dots Spring transition outfit & wardrobe Tip’s

Happy Monday Beautiful’s! Hope your weekend was great and your ready for a great new week! It’s a Beautiful day out Today in Utah and we’re starting to feel a little like Spring! YAY! If your like me your ready because we’ve had one heck of a Winter!

I wanted to share with you a Fun Spring transition outfit and Some Tips on Why I have these items in my wardrobe! I am using some pieces from Fall (my top and shoes) with some fun New Spring Items (this super skirt & denim jacket)

Polka dot skirt from Chic Style here, Denim Jacket: here, Necklace: similar here & here I Found my Necklace at a street market in NYC (One of My favorite things to collect while on Vacation is a piece of Jewelry made by a local artist) I wanted to give you a Faux and a real option!

The transition from Winter to Spring can be hard! 1 because we so badly want the temps to be warmer & We want to wear the Spring/ Summer clothes but the temps don’t always allow us! 2 We don’t always have the budget to go buy all NEW clothes! Here is a great way to solve Both! By Mixing things you already own with a new Spring item or two you can dress like its spring but have the choice to layer up when it’s cooler! Here is how and why I choose these items for My wardrobe!

Skirt:I love the classic and playful lines of the fluted pencil Skirt! Who doesn’t love Polka dot’s? This is a great Basic & versatile piece to add to your wardrobe that you can own for years! Steal at $39.99

Denim jacket:If you’ve been following me over the years on Facebook or My New personal instagram you know how much I swear by owning a good fitting Denim jacket! It’s a Basic staple item every lady should own! If you can afford I suggest owning a darker & regular weight and a lighter & lighter weight one! My Favorite is the Kut from the Kloth it fit’s well, is a little tapered not to boxy and a good moderate price point. This essential piece works with ALL most every outfit you could create! From a lace dress or Skirt to dress pants an jeans. It can tone down a outfit or edge one up! It’s a must have for Spring & Summer Chilly nights. I keep one in my car and I always travel with one. A denim Jacket travel’s well because it can be rolled up small or is a light enough weight to wear on a chilly plane. If you don’t have one make it a priority piece on your shopping list! You’ll thank me later:)

Faux Leather top: My top I have owned for a couple of years now and it never gets old! I suggest owning a cool Black Leather top! Long sleeve or short it really doesn’t matter you’ll get a lot of use out of it as you can wear Year round! Tip buy one that is thin and doesn’t have to much fabric so you can wear alone or layered. Leather adds a “Cool” factor or edge but can also be”Classic” depending on what you pair it with!

Open toed Booties: Mine are Vince Camuto I purchased at Nordstrom a couple of years ago! I really feel its worth it to buy good shoes. They last a longer and are truly more comfortable. This Booty style I personally feel is a classic more then trendy plus very versatile. Can be worn with jeans, skirts and dresses so in my eyes a good investment! The pair I linked you too are even on SALE!
