It’s the last week in February, and we’re getting closer to Spring! This has me excited for warmer weather, sunshine, and Spring clothing. Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be sharing all things Spring, from Spring wardrobe basics, Spring Trends, Spring dresses, Shoes & Bags, Vacation looks, Spring Makeup, Spring sweaters, Spring denim, and what I’ll be wearing as well as what I purchased.

Today, I am sharing Fashion Trends for 2024 Spring Edition: Part 1, a peek into what you’ll be seeing in fashion this Spring, as well as a few of my outfit inspirations. Note: Here in Utah, we’re still cold and have to wear layers for Spring. Today’s Spring outfits are for early Spring.

Trends to be looking for
Trending items in fashion for 2024. has a little elegance, and you’ll see things dressed up with attention to detail. I also love the hint of romance that is coming, such as floral accessories; bye to Barbie Core, and welcome to Ballet Core. (think tulle and ribbons & and bows.) Metallic comes in more substantial, denim is on Denim, and leopard print is making a splash again. We’ll also see a lot more elevated basics versus less athleisure.

Colors and Fabric for Spring 2024
You will see richer hues and less pink. More Reds, Cornflower, navy, cobalt blue, shades of butter & sunshine yellow, and pretty greens from Olive to seafoam. As far as prints are concerned, leopards and stripes are taking the stage, and spring florals are taking a back seat. This is not to say you won’t see florals in the spring, but there will be less than in prior years. Stripes are coming in hot, perfect for the coastal vibe. Denim on Denim is a classic in my book, but we see it in accessories this spring as well.
