3 Ways To Style Amazon Short Set

Hello pretty ladies, I hope you had a great weekend.

We spent the weekend in Park City for Father’s Day, as my hubby wanted a little getaway. It was nice to relax and have a slight change of pace. Don’t you love a weekend getaway?

Today, I want to share a great Amazon find: two-piece tropical printed short set. So affordable at $29 for both pieces and comes in several prints and color choices.

Short sets are having a big “moment” right now, and I am here for it.

A short set is also an excellent option for a getaway because you can create multiple looks by packing a couple of extra pieces.

I created three different outfits for you with this two-piece set. Easy to create, easy to pack, and perfect for the pool, lunch, shopping, and date night.

3 Ways To Style Amazon Short Set

Style Amazon Short set Way #1

This two-piece Amazon short set was styled by just using the two pieces, A kimono, and shorts. This look is easily accomplished by adding A bodysuit or tank top, cute sandals (I am wearing Tory Burch Millers), a straw bag, and Fun tropical earrings.

Easy outfit look for vacation, site seeing, shopping, and even worn over a bathing suit to the pool.

Style Amazon Short set Way#2

Outfit number two was created with the shorts from the two-piece set. Paired with a black blazer, the same Spanx bodysuit, and accessorized with Black open-toed Vince Camuto booties, a leather clutch, and finished off with gold jewelry.

The blazer gives the printed shorts a more polished look and takes this look to Summer chic versus summer vacation. Outfit number two is one of my favorite looks for summer.

Outfit number three was created with the Kimon from the set, paired with Spanx black shorts and the same Spanx bodysuit. It was created by accessorizing with Cognac Tory Burch Millers and a cognac vegan hobo bag by Social Thread. With jewelry to finish off the look.

This look could be perfect for brunch/ shopping with the girls, a coffee meeting, running errands, and casual dinner.

The Elvis Sandwich: Grilled Peanut Butter & Banana Sandwich

Hello Pretty Ladies,

Today, I am sharing The recipe & How to make Elvis’s Favorite Sandwich, On Good Things Utah, for a promotion for the upcoming Elvis movie. So, my first time, I’ll be sharing a recipe on tv. However, I am used to sharing fashion, so I might be slightly nervous this time. (Wish me luck!)

If you follow me on Instagram, you know I share recipes and cooking in my stories. I love to cook for my family and share it with my followers.

A funny thing…My hubby the other day made a peanut butter and banana sandwich, and I said, “oh, you’re making the Elvis sandwich!” He said, “what?” Ben had no idea that was Elvis’s favorite Sandwich! He said, “how do you know that?” I told him I had heard it years ago when I was a kid and never forgot it. My mom adored Elvis. I am sure it was her that said something. It’s a southern thing!

Now, Elvis liked his Sandwich grilled and made with a lot of butter and even bacon fat! So I am making it without the bacon fat and a little less butter! But feel free to make it the Elvis way!

The Recipe:

Elvis Presley’s Fried Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich

Two slices of white bread

2 tablespoons butter

1 small ripe banana mashed

2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter

Directions

Place two pieces of white bread in the toaster on a light setting. Heat skillet over medium heat with two tablespoons of butter. While the bread is toasting, in a small bowl, using a fork, mash the ripe banana until it reaches a smooth consistency. Using a knife, take both pieces of the toasted bread and spread two tablespoons of creamy peanut butter, topping one side with the mashed banana. Place one slice of bread on top of the other, forming a sandwich. Place sandwich in a hot skillet, browning each side and flipping with a spatula for about 2 minutes per side. Take out of the skillet, slice on a diagonal, and serve on a plate.

Tip: This would be good drizzles with warm chocolate or honey. This Sandwich is warm, delicious, and gooey. You might want to eat it with a fork.

It’s that time of year again where we’re thinking of dads & hubby gifts for Father’s Day. I know so many struggle with gift ideas for men. Being a boy mom, I think, makes it a little easier for me. Want to know how an item makes a best seller? It Is as easy as it sounds. It is the item that sells well on my blog or social media channels. So you, my followers, make purchases of things you like, and I pick the top 10 to 12 of that month’s top purchased items. Favorites, if you will.

Build Your Own BLT Bar Perfect for Summer Dining

Hello pretty ladies, With Memorial Day this weekend & beautiful weather starting to arrive, Patio dining is starting to kick off. I thought it would be fun to share one of my family’s favorite Summer meals with you that’s easy to prepare and perfect for Patio dining.

A build your Own BLT bar. There is no need to slave in a hot kitchen, and a great way to enjoy the yummy Summer tomatoes from the Farmer’s market. Building a food Bar has proven to be a fun way to serve meals and hits with all my following on Pinterest. View my Pizza Building Bar, and Baked Potato Bar

You’ll need:

–Sourdough bread (or bread of your choice) we like lightly toasted

–High-quality Bacon ( I purchase at our local Butcher). I like to have four strips of Bacon per sandwich

–Ripe Tomatoes (farm fresh or, locally grown) sliced ( I like to have two per sandwich). Tip: salt and pepper them

–Iceberg lettuce or Roman for a good crunch

–Ripe Avocado ( sliced )

–Sliced cheese. I like to have pepper Jack and cheddar

Condiments

-Spicy mustard

-Mustard

-Mayo

Make it a meal!

Serve with:

Serve with a side of fresh fruit and your favorite chips. If you like potatoes salad or macaroni salad, that makes a great side dish.

Great Cooking Tip:

Tip: To cook Bacon easy and with no mess… cover the cookie sheet with tin foil and lay out Bacon on a cookie sheet and cook at 400…. No mess, easy cleanup, and no slaving over a hot stovetop.

BLT serving BAR:

I like to lay everything out like an assembly line… then everyone can build their own sandwich with all the items they love. Also great for a big crowd. You can get as creative as you want, use your fun serving pieces or paper and plastic depending on your style.

I have used all of my white serving pieces and used my kitchen island that is closet to my back porch. Making it easy for them to form a line, create their sandwich, and head to the porch to eat Alfresco.
