The Best Crunchy Chicken Salad Recipe
Hello Pretty Ladies,
I hope you had a great weekend. The weather in Utah has been beautiful, and we’ve been spending a lot of time outside working on spring projects and craving salads. With that being said, for today’s “In the Kitchen with D’Arcy,” I am sharing a salad recipe my family often craves.
I’ve taken this salad to parties, and none are left.

Crunchy Chicken Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
6 Chicken Strips cut into strips ( I use the chicken stripes at our local market deli) (set aside to top salad)
One bag classic Romain
A bag of hearts of Romain chopped
One head of butter lettuce chopped
2 On Vine Tomatoes cubed
2 -4 Avocados cubed I like one per person) (set aside to top salad)
1/2 1 sizeable English cucumber cubed
1 Green onion bushel cut
1 Cup blue cheese crumbles
3/4 cup crushed hazelnuts
Top with fresh ground pepper
Option- Add Two cups of chopped cooked Bacon
Balsamic vinaigrette dressing of your choice or Homemade, I make this recipe.
How to serve:
This salad makes four large salads if you are having it for dinner as a main course. If so, I make four salads in individual bowls by dividing the ingredients evenly. If serving as a side or taking to a party, I add everything to a large wooden salad bowl, mixing the lettuce with a good toss. Then, I layer all the ingredients except the salad dressing and let people add that to their liking.
