Are you as happy to see the weekend as I am? Today, I am joining my friend, Dawn, with Party Til Dawn with a blog and Instagram share. Recapping our girlfriend’s “work and play” girl’s trip. We had the pleasure of combining work and play for a fun Girl’s weekend. Shopping, Hair, nails or a spa day, wine tasting, watching a movie, and dining are always delightful on a girl’s trip in Kirkland, Washington.

A little look back at my girl’s weekend with Dawn. We stayed at the beautiful Heathman Hotel in Kirkland, WA. Located just a block from Lake Washington and surrounded by great restaurants and shopping, it is a must-stay when you visit! You are also just minutes away from Shop Totem Lake. The Heathman has a beautiful lobby to cozy up next to the fire with a cup of coffee to start your day. And an excellent onsite restaurant and bar where we shared appetizers and drinks after a long work day. 

Shop Totem Lake in Washington is the sister shopping center to Utah’s Station Park, which Dawn and I work with regularly on content creation. Dawn features Totem lake often, and I feature Station Park. We have now had the pleasure of working with each other at our locations while combining work and Play with a girl’s trip.

Friday

Lunch with Sharleen  at Joe’s Burger

An excellent spot for a lunch meeting or hanging out with friends. The food was delicious, with several types of fries, from waffles, sweet potato regular fries, and garlic fries.

 

 

Content creation

Photo shoots with Evereve, Ulta, and Sephora. A little video-creating with products perfect for the holidays and some sneak peeks in Santas village. Below is one of the outfits I wore for Evereve.

203 Coffee and a walk 

203 coffee, also located at the shops at Totem lake, is a charming spot to grab a great coffee or warm drink and head out on a walk around the lovely shopping center to get in your steps for the day or shop the beautiful stores while taking in the sites of the center.

Mani/Pedi’s- Anthony Vince at the Shops at Totem Lake

Need a little pampering? A manicure and a pedicure always do the trick for me—also, a great place to have a birthday party or bridal pampering party. 

 

 

Dinner at Due Cucina located at the Shops at Totem Lake

love good pasta? This pasta is like your little Italian grandmother made it! 🙂 Guess what? You can take it home and freeze it too! Travel well, as I brought home to my family.

Sunday

A little sleeping in and enjoying a coffee with a view in my room, wearing Print Fresh PJ, of course. (You know these are some of my go-to pj’s) The Heathman has in-room coffee, tea, and comfy couches, and my room had a pretty view overlooking the cute shops across the street.  

Print fresh Pj’s perfect for sleep and lounging on a Sunday morning. With all the fun prints and stylish sets, Printfresh pj’s are my go-to pj’s for Travel.

A Walk & Breakfast at Kirkland bakery right across from the  Hotel, and of so good we had to stop by multiple times.

This bakery and coffee house had the best croissants (like I was in Paris, and I am not joking). So good I took a box home for the guys. Everything we tried, we loved. Isn’t that one of your favorite things to do while traveling? Trying out and tasting the foods.

WOODINVILLE WINE COUNTRY

Yes, Seattle has a wine culture; who knew? Dawn and I met one of Dawn’s followers, Karin, for this fun experience. (now Karin and I follow each other and chat via dm daily) Another fun part of our job is building relationships that turn into friendships. We had a fun day experiencing three different wineries, tasting three wines per winery owned and created by women.

Krista & Julie are fellow Bloggers/Instagrammers living in Kirkland and Dawn’s good friends. We also have built a friendship on Instagram. One of the best parts of traveling is connecting with those you’ve made friendships with online.

Monday – Pike Place Market shopping and Lunch

Checked one off my bucket list, with a little day trip to Pike’s Place. The flowers are stunning, and the shopping and food markets are something to see. We had a delicious lunch and picked up several yummy gourmet jams, cheese, chocolates, and treats to bring home.
