I am sharing a year recap of Vacation resort wear🌴🌸 The piece I love traveled so well, looked great, and you could wear it from the pool to lunch or shopping! I was lucky to have traveled a ton in 2022 from Florida, California, Idaho, Montana, South Dakota, Wyoming, Nevada, Seattle, and several weekend getaways. Protection from the sun without having to apply harmful sunscreens is essential, as I have dealt with skin cancer.

What to wear for Apres Ski

Tomorrow, I have a “Fashion Fix” segment on ABC “s What to wear for Apres Ski.

I thought it would be fun to share some Winter apparel to wear for Apres ski or items you can take on your next ski trip. So I shopped at local places to pick up things I thought were unusual and pieces you could wear all Winter long, whether you ski or not.

Winter Apparel

Living in Utah, you need several good winter pieces to keep you warm, but let’s face it, if you like me, you want to look cute too…this is where Apres Ski comes in….

For Apres ski, you don’t have to be a skier. Whether you’re heading to the lodge for a yummy drink or a delicious meal, you could look like it. Because let me tell you, many ski areas have fantastic food.

Or if you’re Heading out to shop in a mountain town. For example, park City, Ut, Big Bear lake, Ca, Sun Valley, ID, or Aspen, Co. These looks will fit you right in.

Definition of Apres Ski

Apres Ski: social activity (as at a ski lodge) after a day’s skiing

One of my favorite parts of a ski trip is getting dressed for Apres Ski.

I love A faux fur Sherpa layered look, but I also adore the ski sweater, layered puffer jacket, and great snow boots look.

This is the time to wear the fab beanie and faux fur-trimmed pieces and layer up.

Shopping Local

We Have a cute full-service Ski shop in Eden, Utah, called Diamond Peak. They have everything you need for skiing, snowboarding, and in the warmer months. Biking in warmer months, everything From hard goods to some of the cutest clothing for Men, women, and children.

Here I picked up this cute Obermeyer mountain scene ski jacket with fur collar, so cute for Apres Ski, paired with wax-coated black jeans and a fair isle sweater. Assorted Beanies, especially fur Pom poms, make a great accessory and Mittens. Being warm and cozy also is a must for cozying up by the fire with a warm drink.

With all the different styles of jeans on trend this season, I thought it would be fun to share with you the types of sweaters that are trending because of the jean styles, as well as some great sweaters for the Holidays and how you can style them.

I headed to Station Park in Farmington, Ut. To shop this year’s sweater trends. Hitting, Nordstrom Rack, H&M, Evereve, Bohme, and Alter’d State.

Tips on how to style Sweaters with Jean Styles

11 Trending sweaters for this fall’s hottest jean styles.

-Mid-length cardigan sweaters- pair well with boyfriend jeans, straight leg and skinny’s

-Tunic sweaters- pair well with skinny’s and skinny straight legs and leggings.

-Cropped sweaters pair well t with High rise jeans & flares

Fair isle sweaters are coming in strong for the Fall and Winter seasons. We started seeing them a couple of years ago, just a touch. Now, they’re everywhere and in every color, most common in the traditional hip-length sweater style, tunics, and sweater dresses.

How I Styled:

Here is a fair isle sweater under $30, great to wear with straight-leg jeans or skinny jeans, even cargo pants ( these are Chico’s wax-coated slim leg ). Both fit tts Paired with hoops, Chelsea boots with lug soles, a $59 Dolce Vita, and a puffer bag.

: Tunic

A tunic sweater is a great style to wear with your favorite skinny jeans and tall boots. Skinny jeans are not going anywhere. They are just styled differently and worn with tall boots.

How I Styled:

Here I’ve styled this multi-colored striped sweater from H&M, station Park With distressed Skinny Jeans and tall Vincent Cumto boots, with a touch of Western vibe, and brought out the orange with a pop of color bag and earrings.

Sweater dresses have a big moment and can be layered in many different ways. From work to casual and a great option for the Holidays. I personally love them layered with the longer shacket that are style trending for Fall and Winter.

How I styled this H&M sweater dress:

Paired this grey sweater dress with an Evereve long Shacket, tall boots, and a lack of color hat.

Here I have paired with Faux leather crop pants and healed booties, Rhinestones earrings, perfect for Office parties, Thanksgiving dinners, or upcoming Holiday parties.

Sweater vest -with a twist, last year we saw the pullover v-neck sweater vest come in strong. This year we’re seeing it as a button-up. Cute to wear alone as a top or over a shirt left open or 1/2 buttoned. An excellent option for those who live in warm Fall temperatures.

Styled here with Wide leg cropped denim and Chelsea boots. It was buttoned up. And square hoops from uncommon James.

Worn with a cami, rock stud ValentinoAnd paired with Halloween jewelry, you could switch to rhinestones for a holiday look.

Preppy– This style fits like a regular sweater worn with a hem fold under and pairs great with straight-leg jeans or this season’s plaid pencil pants. A shirt can be worn underneath for a fun layering look.

How I styled it:

What is 3rd piece rule?

This Rule (which, in fashion, there aren’t rules) it’s a great tip that works for dressing up or changing the look of any outfit just by changing the 3rd piece.

How does this styling rule/tip work?

I am here if you wear faux leather crop pants and a denim shirt. Although cute on its own, When you add the 3rd piece, aka the jacket or the plaid shacket, it gives your outfit a completely different look just by changing the 3rd piece.

Creating different looks:

You could change out just the jacket over and over on this basic outfit and achieve so many different looks.

This Rule is a great tip that works for traveling as well to stretch your wardrobe without taking as many pieces.

#2. With a denim jacket & add the crossbody strap to the quilted chain bag to add that casual chic look…. Grab lunch with the girls or a coffee date☕️

#3. With a simple Sweater. This lightweight, super soft sweater tunic is perfect on a 75-degree day✔️ add heals, and wear it on a date night✔️

Way To Style Cabana Life For Fall

Hello Pretty Ladies,

I hope your week is going well and you enjoy the last bit of summer. Our weather hasn’t quite hit the fall temperatures, but it’s coming faster than some want. I love summer, but I adore Fall. The cooler mornings and evenings, the smell of the air, and the changing of the leaves are just a few things I am looking forward to. Today, I want to share Cabana life’s spf50 eyelet dress styled a little western for Fall.

Cabana Life clothing doesn’t have to be resort wear or summer clothing. You can easily give their pieces a new look by adding different accessories or laying them up. Here I said western boots, a big Fall trend, and a cowboy hat. On a chilly day, you could add a denim jacket. This look would be darling for a music festival, country concert, country fair, the rodeo, or like I am wearing it on vacation to Jackson hole, Wy.
