While in California a couple of weeks ago, we had to head to one of my favorite spots in Newport Beach: Lido Marina Village. This cute little shopping area on the Marina has cute coffee shops, darling boutiques, and yummy restaurants with beautiful views of the Marina and dining on the boardwalk.

Happy New Week! I hope you had a great weekend. It was beautiful here in Utah. Today, I am sharing a quick and easy outfit to inspire you. A Perfectly Polished Chic Cuffed Jean Outfit: Cuff jeans are all the rage, and they are a style you can wear casually or elevate to a great Chic outfit. 

I’ve always loved a cuffed jean. It’s an excellent trick for tall girls whose jeans are always too short. Add a little folded-up cuff to those short jeans, and the problem will be fixed! A cuff is also always cute on a loose boyfriend-style jean.

Today, I’m sharing a Chic way to wear them with a little Parisian vibe. You could easily copy this look by shopping your closet for items like this: a double-breasted blazer, a mock-neck cap sleeve sweater, straight-leg jeans in a medium to dark wash that you could cuff, a great pair of loafers, and gold jewelry.

Winter Family Vacation- Moose Creek Ranch

Hello, Pretty Ladies, and Happy Sunday,

I hope you’ve had a great week; my family and I had a great Spring Ski vacation last week. We headed to Idaho and Wyoming on a road trip and stayed at the Moose Creek Ranch in the Teton National Forest. It was the most relaxing and peaceful vacation, packed with winter sports, family time, and great food. The perfect place to Head for a Ski trip – Moose Creek Ranch

Originally built 1930

Moose Creek Ranch property is a unique getaway experience. Set in the Teton National Forest

On a river with a pond, a private 10 acres of beautiful Mountain landscape. Majestic pine trees and snow-capped mountains give you a secluded, private feeling, with beautiful sunrises and sunsets and the sounds of nature truly a relaxing experience. I highly recommend this beautiful year-round ranch. 

Several properties’ lodging options include a main lodge for large families, mini cabins, luxury suite cabins, clamping tents on the stream, an airstream rental, and RV parking. On this trip, we stayed at the “Ranch House,” a beautiful mountain home on the property that sleeps 14/16 people.

Activities on the Ranch

There are yard games, Picnic tables, tepees, and several firepits around the property where you can sit, chat, and make s’mores. Each room comes with s’mores kits for you to enjoy at one of the many fire pits on the property.

E-bike rentals and Horseback riding are available for a small fee (reservation recommended) In the Spring & Summer.

Indoor main lodge for lounging by the fire, reading a book, or getting some work done. A game room with a pool table, air hockey, board games, and snacks

In the summer, there is a happy hour from 4-6, and on Saturday night, there is live music from 6-8 around the fire. With singer-songwriter Greg Hise on Saturdays from 6-8 pm. For the Winter, want to enjoy A draft beer or glass of wine after skiing or before dinner? Grab a seat at their bar and relax.

Winter activities include snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. This Ranch is a four-season resort with hiking and biking from Spring through Fall.

Complementary breakfast is served in the main lodge.

The Ranch House

The Ranch House is where we stayed on or visited this trip, a beautiful mountain home on the property that is perfect for large families or a small family reunion. A home that sleeps 14 to 16 people, with a full kitchen, a living and family room, and a game area. This home has four Bedrooms and three full baths, as well as a private deck with a firepit and views of the property’s pond and majestic mountains.

How far away does Moose Creek Ranch Sit from a Town

10 min from Victor, Idaho, Main Street has restaurants and shopping

25 minutes to Driggs for a larger town with more restaurants and shopping

30 min to Jackson Hole, Wyoming

Restaurants we love in the Area

Big Hole BBQ – A small restaurant with delish smoked & BBQ dishes. They also have a nightly special and the best appetizers. This little place fills up fast, and we highly recommend going early. Serving breakfast and lunch

Pinky G’s Pizza– ( On dinners Dine-in and Dives) In Victor and Jackson Hole- The one in Victor is super tiny, with only two tables to dine in; I highly recommend taking it out.  Great pizza, garlic cheese bread, etc. 

The Royal Wolf is a restaurant and bar with a great outdoor patio for Summer dining. I love their Chef salad; it’s yummy. Ben got the fish and chips and said it was good, but he wouldn’t get it again; he prefers their sandwiches. 

Cowboy Coffee—In Jackson Hole, this is a great coffee house that serves pastries. If you’re a coffee lover, this is a must-stop in Jackson Hole. 

Snake River Roasting Co. is a roasting house and cafe that serves a full breakfast and lunch. They also sell gift items and coffee to take home. 

This family of mine is coffee lovers, and we love to visit both of these coffee houses.

Tips to help you create a Holiday Capsule 

TIP #1: You can easily create your own Holiday Capsule wardrobe, by going through your closet and seeing what could work to be festive… and start your rack. Then you can easily create looks with what you’ve put together.

Fabrics of the season satins, velvets, sequins, faux fur, tartan plaids, Pearl detail, and faux leather.

Colors of the season Shades of Red, green, Ivory, metallic, and black.  Even Navy’s & Pinks💕

Don’t forget to Pull out your festive jewelry, bags, and shoes.

These tips also make it easier to know what you might need to shop for. (A great pair of trousers or a festive sweater.) You get my drift.

Tip #2 make sure everything you pulled fits✔️ nothing worse than thinking you have an outfit planned and then something doesn’t fit correctly.

Tip #3 Make sure your@hair do goes with your Outfit… The hair and makeup are the finishing details and finish off the look. 

High neck or detail wear hair up, stunning statement earrings a chic low ponytail or low bun. bare shoulders hair down or 1/2 up. These are just a few hairdo ideas.

Moose Creek Ranch property is a unique getaway experience. Set in the Teton National Forest 

On a river with a pond, a private 10 acres of beautiful Mountain landscape. Majestic pine trees, wildflowers, and mountains give you a secluded, private feeling, with birds singing and the sounds of nature truly a relaxing experience. I highly recommend this beautiful ranch. 

Several properties’ lodging options include a main lodge for large families, mini cabins, luxury suite cabins, clamping tents on the stream, an airstream rental, and RV parking.

There are yard games, Picnic tables, and tepees, as well as several firepits around the property where you can sit around, chat, and make s’mores. Each room comes with s’mores kits for you to enjoy at one of the many fire pits on the property.

E-bike rentals and Horseback riding are available for a small fee (reservation recommended)

Indoor main lodge for lounging by the fire, reading a book, or getting some work done. A game room with a pool table, air hockey, board games, and snacks

Happy hour from 4-6, And Saturday night live music from 6-8 around the fire. With singer-songwriter Greg Hise on Saturdays from 6-8 pm

Complementary breakfast is served in the main lodge.

Hiking and biking trails are all around the property and close by.

Hello Pretty Ladies, 

Happy Wednesday and the last week of June. Can you believe how fast June went by? I know I had two trips in June, but wow, it flew by; even my hubby said, “How did this month fly by?” I will be recapping both trips, what I wore, and my favorites from the trips. Honestly, I am a little behind and trying to catch up! I haven’t done several things on my Summer to-do list, and I have to get with it! 

A couple of the BIG things on my list to do: Get my office/studio/closet finished and paint several pieces of furniture (hubby said he’d help me on Monday.)  Finish cleaning out the playroom; yes, our kids are grown! LOL…Clean out a ton of clothes and donate some and put some on consignment. I also want to redo 2 of our guest rooms.

Besides, enjoying summer and still getting my regular work done. I might have put too much on my plate. Have you ever had high hopes for what you could accomplish? Hello pretty ladies,

How’s your week going? Mine has been a little crazy with getting back from one trip and heading out on another tomorrow. I also had a health scare, but God is good, and it’s not as severe. I still have some big decisions to make, but it is not life-threatening, which I am so grateful for. I’ll share more in the upcoming weeks. But for now, I am feeling very blessed and thankful. 

Those of you who read my blog or have followed me on social for a while know I love to read and share a seasonal book list of what I’ll be reading that season. Today, I can finally share my summer reading list as all the books have arrived. (The Summer of Songbirds by Kristy Woodson Harvey) is hot off the press on June 16th.
