I hope you had a great weekend. I am on vacation with my hubby and enjoying every moment with him. I’ll share more of that later in the week. The Nordstrom sale has started, and I wanted to give you a heads up on some of the items I love and like to stock up on, as well as some top-rated beauty items and great deals you may not want to miss.

Nordstroms anniversary sale is a great time to pick up some beauty bundles and deals you can’t get anywhere else or any other time of the year. I shared last week the six things I purchase yearly, and 1/2 of them are beauty items I only purchase at this sale.

Things to Know about the Sale

If you want to score early access, apply for a Nordstrom credit card asap. The retailer offers two types of cards, a retail credit card and a Visa credit card, which provide the same benefits and are eligible for early access to the Anniversary Sale. While your cardmember status depends on yearly spend amounts, all cardmembers automatically start at Influencer status, which means you’ll get an extra four days to shop the sale before it opens to everyone.

July 3: Online preview begins (so you can start planning and bookmarking deals)
July 11 to 16: Icon early access
July 12 to 16: Ambassador early access

Five makeup products from 2022 changed my skin’s look and how I did my makeup.

I hope your first week of the new year is going well. I wanted to share five makeup products that significantly changed how I did my makeup and what it did for my skin. As we age, our skin loses its natural youthful glow. I found products that help achieve that glow without glitter sinking into pours. It is all about the light.

I had girlfriends comment on how good my skin was looking, and even though I will give a lot of credit to my skincare regimens, it was because of the products I added to my makeup routine that gave my skin the appearance they were noticing.

Charlotte Tilbury “Pillow talk line has been a big talk of the town!” I love her products, as I use her eyebrow line, and I love her lip liner. I really wanted to try the Filmstar Bronze & Glow, the Pillow talk eye palette and eye pencil, and her Super nudes lipstick in Cover Star. Along with stocking up on some of my regulars, her Brow lift pencil, Gel, and Lipliner.

I also heard rave reviews on the Isle of Paradise self-tanning drops and mist. My sister has raved about all the Tatcha products, and I thought I pick one up. But, no, better time to try out new products and stock up on favorites.
