Hello Pretty ladies,

I hope your weekend was full of love and blessings. We laid low, worked on some projects, and lounged at home. I’ve been on a seven-day cleanse, and staying home helped me to stick with it. I’ll be done on Thursday, and then I am doing a 10-day reset, followed up with whole30 or keto. I’m not sure which one yet, but I know it will be High in Protein and fiber. Meet My New Favorite Jewelry line French Kande, a beautiful handmade jewelry line inspired by french medallions. Perfect for dressing up a tee, a Crisp button-up, or LBD. I fell in love with French Kande’s story. I adore Paris and love medallions and pearls. What a perfect marriage for a jewelry line. Combining two of the things I adore caught my eye quickly. I also love chunky jewelry, things that have a story, hand-crafted pieces, and women-owned businesses. So you can see how falling in love was easy for me.

Athleta Spring Haul Wardrobe Refresher

Hello Pretty Ladies,

As you are reading this, I am on a little Ski trip with my husband for his birthday in Sun Valley. We needed this little break together, and I was looking forward to it as it’s one of my favorite trips. We return with the family in March for our annual ski trip, which is also a favorite time. But there’s just something about taking the time to spend time together as just a couple, wouldn’t you agree?

Before we left town, I headed to Station Park to meet my friend Cammi at Cammi’s Happy Place for a little Athleta try-on, lunch at Twigs, and our Bookclub Live we did for Chico’s. Always fun to spend time with her and get a little work done. Business and pleasure, as they say.

Don’t you love a little workout wear refresher for Spring?🌿 I love a whole wardrobe refresher for Spring, but living in Utah, winter is long, and wearing Spring clothes will take a couple more months. But Spring workout- wear we can wear now, and let me tell you, adding in Spring wherever I can help add a little cheer to these cold dark days. Athlata seems to have workout wear that can quickly transition into streetwear. You can pair a sweater with jeans or an outer vest from the gym to grab coffee with a friend.

I no black isn’t very colorful, but it is a go-to basic, and I wanted to share my go-to pieces that you could wear year-round and add a little pop of color with just one item. You’ll wear this quilted vest repeatedly, making it a great streetwear piece.

Styling Event & Girl’s Night at Evereve

I hope your first week in February went well. Mine was busy getting work done, helping at school, and getting everything ready to head out of town for Ben’s birthday. We’re headed on a ski trip to Sun Valley. We’re both looking forward to a bit of downtime and a little alone time, as it has been a while. We had the pleasure of combining work and play for a fun Girl’s weekend. Shopping, Hair, nails or a spa day, wine tasting, watching a movie, and dining are always delightful on a girl’s trip in Kirkland, Washington.

What to Wear and Do on a Girl’s Trip to Seattle (a suburb of Seattle) Kirkland, Washington.

A little look back at my girl’s weekend with Dawn. We stayed at the beautiful Heathman Hotel in Kirkland, WA. Located just a block from Lake Washington and surrounded by great restaurants and shopping, it is a must-stay when you visit! You are also just minutes away from Shop Totem Lake. The Heathman has a beautiful lobby to cozy up next to the fire with a cup of coffee to start your day. And an excellent onsite restaurant and bar where we shared appetizers and drinks after a long work day.

Shop Totem Lake in Washington is the sister shopping center to Utah’s Station Park, which Dawn and I work with regularly on content creation. Dawn features Totem lake often, and I feature Station Park. We have now had the pleasure of working with each other at our locations while combining work and Play with a girl’s trip.

A Walk & Breakfast at Kirkland bakery right across from the Hotel, and of so good we had to stop by multiple times.

This bakery and coffee house had the best croissants (like I was in Paris, and I am not joking). So good I took a box home for the guys. Everything we tried, we loved. Isn’t that one of your favorite things to do while traveling? Trying out and tasting the foods.

WOODINVILLE WINE COUNTRY

Yes, Seattle has a wine culture; who knew? Dawn and I met one of Dawn’s followers, Karin, for this fun experience. (now Karin and I follow each other and chat via dm daily) Another fun part of our job is building relationships that turn into friendships. We had a fun day experiencing three different wineries, tasting three wines per winery owned and created by women.

Checked one off my bucket list, with a little day trip to Pike’s Place. The flowers are stunning, and the shopping and food markets are something to see. We had a delicious lunch and picked up several yummy gourmet jams, cheese, chocolates, and treats to bring home.

Winter Casual Outfit Inspirations

Happy Monday, Pretty Ladies🌸

Need a little causal outfit inspiration? I thought I would share what I have worn lately. Several of these outfits are what I wore to the hospital while caring for my mom. I needed outfits that were comfortable, easy to wear, warm, and still looked put together. Hospitals are cold, so layers are great. Being comfortable was also essential for extended stays as well.

I was lucky to have traveled a ton in 2022 from Florida, California, Idaho, Montana, South Dakota, Wyoming, Nevada, Seattle, and several weekend getaways.
