I hope your weekend is going well and you’re having a great weekend. It’s Sunny and beautiful here in Utah, and I have to say we’ve been enjoying it. We’ve been having dinner on the deck the last three nights, and all the trees are starting to bloom beautiful blossoms.

Speaking of trees, we started our Saturday morning off by having two beautiful trees removed from our yard, one being a stunning cherry tree. Although attractive, unfortunately, they were too close to our home and caused some damage, so it was necessary to have them cut down and removed. Everything went smoothly, and the tree service did a fantastic job. Meanwhile, Ben is redoing our decks; new front and back decks are also happening this Spring. It’s been a while since I’ve shared on the blog what products I’ve been using lately and how I use them in Midlife as far as a Skincare Routine, from what I use for the day versus what I use at night and for a self-care day. A weekly Self-care day for your skin is highly recommended:) It’s just a little extra attention your skin deserves. I tend to do this on Saturdays, but you can squeeze in an extra hour or two for some me time whenever it works in your schedule. If that means only once a month, make sure you do that for yourself.

The skin care order & Steps:

Step 1: Cleaner

Double Washed face with

Step 2: Mask

Then, I used the Tula Berry Relaxed Detoxing & Toning Face Mask Stick and let it set for 8-10 minutes.

Step 5: Serums

I also use Colleen Rothschild’s Vitamin C Treatment complex once or twice a week in the evening or on a no-makeup day, as it’s a little richer.

The Nordstrom sale has started, and I wanted to give you a heads up on some of the items I love and like to stock up on, as well as some top-rated beauty items and great deals you may not want to miss. 

Nordstroms anniversary sale is a great time to pick up some beauty bundles and deals you can’t get anywhere else or any other time of the year. I shared last week the six things I purchase yearly, and 1/2 of them are beauty items I only purchase at this sale.

Things to Know about the Sale

If you want to score early access, apply for a Nordstrom credit card asap. The retailer offers two types of cards, a retail credit card and a Visa credit card, which provide the same benefits and are eligible for early access to the Anniversary Sale. While your cardmember status depends on yearly spend amounts, all cardmembers automatically start at Influencer status, which means you’ll get an extra four days to shop the sale before it opens to everyone.

When can I shop for the 2023 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?

  • July 3: Online preview begins (so you can start planning and bookmarking deals)
  • July 11 to 16: Icon early access
  • July 12 to 16: Ambassador early access
