Today, I am sharing an easy way to add Fall touches to your home with a dough bowl.
Whether you’re a big fall decorator or just want to add a little bit of fall decor to warm up your space. 
A dough bowl is a great way to add decor for every season, on your kitchen island, dining room table, coffee table, or even entry table. 
Makes a great anchor, for seasonal items.
I love fall and I love to decorate. One of my favorite items to style is a dough bowl. Here are a few tips that can help you create a Fall display with ease.

Fall decorating is can be so fun and actually really easy with these easy tips.

Tip 1

Keep it simple, using a Dough Bowl Makes a great anchor for your collections for any season. They come in several sizes to fit in many places. 
A dough bowl is a great way to add decor for every season, on your kitchen island, dining room table, Coffee table, or even entry table. 
Makes a great anchor, for seasonal items. Easy to change them according to the time of year.
 

Tip 2

Work in odd numbers, an interior design trick is to work in odd numbers, 3,5,7, etc. This adds balance and helps create clusters that work to keep the eye wandering along with interest.  

Tip 3 

Use items you love, use a variety of items in different textures and materials. Use different sizes and heights. This not only adds interest but keeps your display from being flat.

Hello Pretty Ladies,

This is my easy and oh so delicious Avocado toast recipe. Fun Fact: I was not too fond of avocados until a couple of years ago. I was not too fond of the texture. Now, I eat one every day and could eat this Toast every day! I am not going to chat today. I am just getting to the recipe!

Easy Avocado Toast Recipe

Avocado Toast Recipe:

You’ll need the following:

1 Avocado Cut up and mashed, seasoned with Everything bagel seasoning. 

2 slices of Toast buttered (We love sourdough)

1 Egg scrambled or cooked the way you liked. Salt and peppered! (I had a little shredded cheese on my Egg)

1 Farm fresh Tomato sliced and seasoned with Everything bagel seasoning

Easy Avocado Toast Recipe

Assemble: 

Make sure your Toast is toasted well. This helps the bread from getting soggy. I also like my Toast buttered. 

Once you have all of the above prep, Egg cooked, Toast toasted and buttered, Avocado cut mashed and seasoned, tomato sliced and seasoned. You assemble. 

I like to spread the Avocado first. This acts like glue for the Egg; add Egg, layer tomato, and sprinkle with a bit of extra bagel seasoning! 

That’s it! Taste fantastic and better than any restaurant Avocado toast! (I am sure the key is butter, everything bagel seasoning, and a farm-fresh tomato)

I hope you have a great start to a new month. Can you believe it is August, and fall is fast approaching? I thought it was that time again to share a date night idea. You know I love spending time with my hubby and that we love a good date night. I try to share with you every so often fun date nights. Below I am sharing 3 Card Games For Datenight! 

One of them was my favorite as a kid as we played UNO as a family and at all the holidays with relatives.

A bit of quality time can go a long way when it comes to deepening your relationship. The Gottman Institute states that dedicating two hours a week to romantic dates, including playing games or having meals together, is fundamental to creating a happy and healthy relationship.

Playing games can also be necessary for newer couples who want to break the ice and learn more about each other. After all, there’s always something new that you can learn about your partner, no matter how long you’ve been together!

So whether you’re getting to know each other or simply finding ways to liven up your dates, here are a few card games that can help you break the ice:

3 Card Games For Datenight

UNO

UNO is a well-loved card game that’s both fun and nostalgic.

In fact, UNO is a part of many family traditions and can be an exciting conversation starter. The rules remain simple and consistent: you can shuffle the deck before providing seven cards to each player. Then, you’ll take turns drawing a face-up card from the rest of the stack so that you can match one of your seven cards with the number or color of the face-up card. As you take turns drawing and matching cards, you can take this opportunity to talk about fun childhood memories regarding UNO. By taking your partner through memory lane, you can learn a bit more about each other and have a lot more fun while doing it.

Texas Hold ’em

Sometimes, you need a bit of competition to break the ice.

If you and your partner want some friendly competition, you can learn how to play Texas Hold ’em by going over the game’s rules together. This social aspect means it’s also an excellent option for helping two couples bond with one another. Since teamwork is crucial in this card game, you and your partner will need to plan and coordinate accordingly so that you can deal with both of your hands well. By the end of the game, you’ll come out with a much better rapport.

Got a question that you’ve always wanted to ask your partner about? Try playing the Actually Curious card game.

Creator Michael Tennant created game mechanics that lower players’ defenses and egos and allows players to speak with greater openness and intent. They are playing the Actually Curious card game challenges individuals to answer thought-provoking questions with honesty while also teaching the other party how to harness their empathy and active listening skills. The blazer gives the printed shorts a more polished look and takes this look to Summer chic versus summer vacation. Outfit number two is one of my favorite looks for summer.

It’s that time of year again where we’re thinking of dads & hubby gifts for Father’s Day. I know so many struggle with gift ideas for men. Being a boy mom, I think, makes it a little easier for me. Because I am always on the hunt for gifts my guys will love. So today, I am sharing 5 thoughtful gifts and 5 purchased gifts that my guys love. 

There are a lot of great ideas out there for men, especially if they have hobbies, the Golfer or Skier, Beer or Coffee Enthusiast. The office worker and the Car guy.

Whatever your dad is into, they make something cool that would make for a great gift. It is about thinking about what dad likes to do or how he likes to spend his time.

  1. Make his favorite meal. My guys love food, as the saying goes…” A way to a man’s heart is through his stomach!” So cooking his favorite meal on his special day is thoughtful and always a big hit.
  2. Have his car detailed. Having your car detailed is a big treat, although all my guys like to wash and care for their vehicles. It shows your care to have his car cleaned and professionally detailed.
  3. Do “His” chores? Do you and your Hubby have chores you each do? You know the drill… Hubby mows the lawn. Do you do laundry? (or another way around) Whatever his “chores” are. You and the kids do them.
  4. Do an activity your Hubby likes to do, Go for a drive, a bike ride, boating, golf, etc. However, he wants to spend extra time and do that as a couple or as a family.
