Vacation Mode Activated Cabana Life

Hello pretty ladies. Spring is almost here, which means Summer is around the corner! This means Spending more time outdoors, and Beach & Lake Vacations are fast approaching. I love nothing more than spending time in the water. Whether poolside or beachside. Cabana Life resort wear is perfect for the whole family. I love that Cabana Life clothing can take you from the beach to lunch. It’s fashionable and practical. Every piece travels well, along with not taking up much space.

I love that every collection has a matching swimsuit, making packing easier. I took several pieces to Palm Beach, Florida, which helped me easily pack and organize my outfits—being able to mix and match some of the collections as well. Like in this outfit below: From the Jetties Beach & Nantucket Collection. The colors work together even though the patterns are different. It makes for a fun combination.

Don’t be afraid to mix and match patterns if the colors are the same. It works out great.

I hope your weekend was full of love and blessings. We laid low, worked on some projects, and lounged at home. I’ve been on a seven-day cleanse, and staying home helped me to stick with it. I hope you had a beautiful Valentine’s Day. We went out with the kids (adult kids) for an early dinner at one of our favorite Mexican food restaurants in Salt Lake. The Red Iguana, You may have heard of it as it’s been on Dinners, Drive in’s, and Dives. It’s none of those things. Instead, it has a cute atmosphere right next to the railroad. Which is why I believe it is one of the reasons it fits in that category. Anyway, it is delicious Mexican food, and this California girl loves Mexican food.

Today, I am sharing a fun “new to me” brand, Elemis Skincare. I have heard so many great things about Elemis Skincare and have never had the opportunity to try this skincare line. Elemis reached out to me and asked if I would like to try 4 out of their top 10 products, and of course, I jumped at the chance.

I will report back to you in a couple of weeks and let you know my thoughts, and give a review on each product.

As you are reading this, I am on a little Ski trip with my husband for his birthday in Sun Valley. We needed this little break together, and I was looking forward to it as it’s one of my favorite trips. We return with the family in March for our annual ski trip, which is also a favorite time. But there’s just something about taking the time to spend time together as just a couple, wouldn’t you agree?

Before we left town, I headed to Station Park to meet my friend Cammi at Cammi’s Happy Place for a little Athleta try-on, lunch at Twigs, and our Bookclub Live we did for Chico’s. Always fun to spend time with her and get a little work done. Business and pleasure, as they say.

COzy soft crew neck sweatshirt paired with loose white linen pants you’ll wear all Spring & Summer. You really can’t go wrong with any piece, and no matter the sport or lounging you want to do.

I no black isn’t very colorful, but it is a go-to basic, and I wanted to share my go-to pieces that you could wear year-round and add a little pop of color with just one item. You’ll wear this quilted vest repeatedly, making it a great streetwear piece.

I hope your first week in February went well. Mine was busy getting work done, helping at school, and getting everything ready to head out of town for Ben’s birthday. Today’s “In the kitchen with D’Arcy” Sunday Recipe:🥒🍋🥒🍋🥒🍋 🥒 “Hydrate & Fiber Mocktail with Liquid IV” It’s a great recipe to get you ready for that warm sunny vacation. It helps hydrate and adds fiber, which can help you lose weight while adding many other great benefits that drinking water daily provides.

Here’s a great Hydrating & added Fiber Mocktail recipe using Liquid IV that tastes yummy, adds extra fiber to your diet and helps Hydrate your skin. “Drinking water is like washing out your insides.”

🍋🥒Hydrate & fiber water recipe:

-Water Pitcher

-Cocktail shaker

-Water

-Ice

-Juice of 1 lime

-1/2 cucumber sliced

-Mint (about 12 leaves) muddle if wish✔️

-2 Tablespoons Chia seed

What to Wear and Do on A Girl’s Trip

Are you as happy to see the weekend as I am? Today, I am joining my friend, Dawn, with Party Til Dawn with a blog and Instagram share. Recapping our girlfriend’s “work and play” girl’s trip. We had the pleasure of combining work and play for a fun Girl’s weekend. Shopping, Hair, nails or a spa day, wine tasting, watching a movie, and dining are always delightful on a girl’s trip in Kirkland, Washington.

A little look back at my girl’s weekend with Dawn. We stayed at the beautiful Heathman Hotel in Kirkland, WA. Located just a block from Lake Washington and surrounded by great restaurants and shopping, it is a must-stay when you visit! You are also just minutes away from Shop Totem Lake. The Heathman has a beautiful lobby to cozy up next to the fire with a cup of coffee to start your day. And an excellent onsite restaurant and bar where we shared appetizers and drinks after a long work day.

Shop Totem Lake in Washington is the sister shopping center to Utah’s Station Park, which Dawn and I work with regularly on content creation. Dawn features Totem lake often, and I feature Station Park. We have now had the pleasure of working with each other at our locations while combining work and Play with a girl’s trip.

Lunch with Sharleen at Joe’s Burger

An excellent spot for a lunch meeting or hanging out with friends. The food was delicious, with several types of fries, from waffles, sweet potato regular fries, and garlic fries.

203 coffee, also located at the shops at Totem lake, is a charming spot to grab a great coffee or warm drink and head out on a walk around the lovely shopping center to get in your steps for the day or shop the beautiful stores while taking in the sites of the center.

Need a little pampering? A manicure and a pedicure always do the trick for me—also, a great place to have a birthday party or bridal pampering party.

love good pasta? This pasta is like your little Italian grandmother made it! 🙂 Guess what? You can take it home and freeze it too! Travel well, as I brought home to my family.

Sunday

A little sleeping in and enjoying a coffee with a view in my room, wearing Print Fresh PJ, of course. (You know these are some of my go-to pj’s) The Heathman has in-room coffee, tea, and comfy couches, and my room had a pretty view overlooking the cute shops across the street.

Print fresh Pj’s perfect for sleep and lounging on a Sunday morning. With all the fun prints and stylish sets, Printfresh pj’s are my go-to pj’s for Travel.

A Walk & Breakfast at Kirkland bakery right across from the Hotel, and of so good we had to stop by multiple times.

This bakery and coffee house had the best croissants (like I was in Paris, and I am not joking). So good I took a box home for the guys. Everything we tried, we loved. Isn’t that one of your favorite things to do while traveling? Trying out and tasting the foods.

WOODINVILLE WINE COUNTRY

Yes, Seattle has a wine culture; who knew? Dawn and I met one of Dawn’s followers, Karin, for this fun experience. (now Karin and I follow each other and chat via dm daily) Another fun part of our job is building relationships that turn into friendships. We had a fun day experiencing three different wineries, tasting three wines per winery owned and created by women.

Krista & Julie are fellow Bloggers/Instagrammers living in Kirkland and Dawn’s good friends. We also have built a friendship on Instagram. One of the best parts of traveling is connecting with those you’ve made friendships with online.

Monday – Pike Place Market shopping and Lunch

Checked one off my bucket list, with a little day trip to Pike’s Place. The flowers are stunning, and the shopping and food markets are something to see. We had a delicious lunch and picked up several yummy gourmet jams, cheese, chocolates, and treats to bring home.
