Chicken Schnitzel Recipe for Sunday Dinner

Chicken Schnitzel Recipe for Sunday Dinner, A Dutch Classic dinner that your family will love! This takes up the regular chicken dinner notch.

A Dutch Dish:

Chicken Schnitzel with Homemade mashed potatoes and baby peas! Served with or without gravy! One of  The Vandenberg’s favorite dinners and makes a perfect Sunday dinner! This Chicken is so good you won’t want to eat Chicken any other way😉

I know some of you are going to comment… Schnitzel is a German dish…yes, it is with pork! The Dutch created the twist with Chicken 😉 My hubby’s family has been making it for years, which is one of our family’s FAVORITES.

So, pull out some chicken breast and make this yummy Sunday dinner❤️

 

Recipe: 

-4 Chicken breast (pounded out thin)

-3 eggs (whipped) add salt pepper

-Bread crumbs (about two cups) 

We like Italian by Progresso  (a tip I add a tablespoon of garlic salt & onion powder)

-Butter- to fry Chicken in, about 1/2 cube per side…

Pound out chicken breast (thin). TIP: (cover in Saran Wrap) to avoid splattering ✔️ crack eggs and whip with a fork in a bowl. Add bread crumbs and seasoning to a separate bowl—dip chicken in egg, then bread crumbs. Heat the skillet, add 1/2 cube of butter, and let it melt. Add Chicken, flip when golden brown, and add the rest of the butter… done when both sides are golden brown.

Serve with Homemade mashed potatoes, baby peas, and gravy.

Hello Pretty Ladies, 

I whipped up this easy, “In the kitchen with D’Arcy.”

Recipe: Pumpkin Maple Butter French Toast was a hit at my house. My family said it was one of their favorites! Served with a good cup of coffee, it would make for a great holiday breakfast. Great for the whole family.

 

Recipe:

Pumpkin brioche bread (Trader Joe’s) or any pumpkin bread (the whole loaf, 10 slices)

Four eggs

1/2 heavy whipping cream

1/2 teaspoons cinnamon 

One tablespoon vanilla 

Powdered sugar

1/2 water 

Butter

Maple butter ( Trader Joe’s)

(The whole jar)

 

Mix eggs, cream, water, Cinnamon, and vanilla in the bowl…

Warm pan with butter

Dip Bread into egg mixture, and brown on both sides in the pan.

Top with a pat of butter and warm maple butter( stir and warm in the microwave)

Sprinkle a dash of Cinnamon!

And a dash of Powdered sugar.

Makes 10 slices

Hello pretty ladies, 

I hope you are having a great week as we wrap up the first week of November. I wanted to share a recipe my family loves that makes a great side dish for the holidays. Creamy Brussel Sprouts and Asparagus Recipe is a great vegetable side dish for Sunday dinner, but I found it’s a dish that gets gobbled up at the holiday meals and when I take to a potluck style party. This will surely be a hit for you at your table or next party, even if you don’t like Brussels sprouts.

Creamy Brussel Sprouts and Asparagus Recipe Recipe

served a group of 15

 

2 24 oz bags Brussels cut in halves. 

Two shallots chopped.

2 Tablespoons of chopped/ minced Garlic

One bundle of asparagus cut in thirds. 

1 Lb of high-quality bacon.

32 oz of heavy cream.

2 tablespoons of chicken better than bouillon. 

1/2 cube of butter. 

1 cup of Parmesan.

1 cup of mozzarella 

1/2 cup shaved Romano

1teaspoon salt 

1 teaspoon pepper

1teaspoon onion salt 

First, bake your bacon until cooked. 

Then chop 

Add to a pan your whole garlic and shallots until shallots are caramelized. 

Then add 3 tablespoons of butter and your Chicken Bouillon and let melt. 

Add 2 tablespoons of flour, cook, and stir. 

Then add your cream and Parmesan. 

Simmer and stir until everything is creamy. 

Then pour over your Brussels and asparagus in a mixing bowl. Then put in a baking dish, only put half in and top with some mozzarella, then put the rest in and top that with the rest of your mozzarella. 

Bake at 350 for 50 min.

Hello pretty Ladies,

Today I am sharing a yummy Fall cocktail I love to make a pitcher of for Fall parties and Thanksgiving. I hope you’ll try it.

Spicy Apple cocktail, A great Fall Cocktail with a kick of spice and a hint of cinnamon, takes this Apple cocktail to the next level. A great drink to serve in the fall, and make a pitcher of it to perform at Thanksgiving. Float apples and cinnamon sticks in the pitcher for a beautiful-looking Fall punch.

Spicy Apple Cocktail

Spiced Apple Cocktail Recipe: You’ll need

Sparkling Apple Cider

Apple juice

Processo

Spicy Simple Syrup (I purchase at High west distillery) Great in Lemonade cocktail

Carmel Vodka 

Cinnamon 

Apple Slices 

To make a pitcher, use the following:

Sparkling Apple Cider – 1 regular-size bottle of Sparkling Apple cider

Apple juice-  1 full bottle of apple juice

Processo- 1 full bottle of Processo

Spicy Simple Syrup – 1/2 cup

Carmel Vodka – 1 cup

Cinnamon -1 tablespoon cinnamon 

Cinnamon- 6 cinnamon sticks

2 Apples- Cut into Apple Slices

Add all ingredients to a large decanter or party pitcher. I love a clear glass one.

 

Single Glass cocktail:

Sparkling Apple Cider – 1 shot of Sparkling Apple cider

Apple juice-  1 shot of apple juice

Processo- (Add last) Top off with  Processo

Spicy Simple Syrup – 1/2 teaspoon

Carmel Vodka – 1 shot

Cinnamon -A dash of cinnamon 

Cinnamon- 1 cinnamon stick for garnish 

2 Apples- 1  Apple Slice for garnish
