The most anticipated Sale of the Year! It starts tomorrow, but only for cardholders with Icon Static…. I didn’t want non-cardholders to feel left out, so I scoured all 136 pages of the sale section to bring you my top picks throughout the week! Hoping you enjoy seeing some of the pieces I own and a peek at my wish list. I am swooning over them. Perfect pieces to add to your Summer wardrobe, transition into Fall, and pieces you’ll live in all Winter! This Sale is the best price of the Year and makes for a great time to stock up.

I’ve been shopping this sale for over 30 years and look forward to it every year. It’s a great time to pick up items/brands that are hard to find on sale! They have amazing beauty bundles you can’t get any other time of the year!

Items I purchase for my wardrobe, I wear, tend to wear on repeat as well as build my classic wardrobe with good quality pieces.

This year’s SALE is truly one of the BEST I’ve seen in years… My wish list would be everything you see here in my graphics (if I could.

Things to remember: The Anniversary SALE is open for preview and starts tomorrow for Icon static cardholders….Don’t have a card? Apply here to shop for the Cardholder sale from July 8th to August 3rd. Store sales will open to the public from July 14th to August 3rd. Are you a cardholder? Remember, you get a triple points day, so don’t forget to schedule it for the day you’re headed to shop.

Things to Know about the Sale

If you want to score early access, apply for a Nordstrom credit card ASAP. The retailer offers two types of cards, a retail credit card and a Visa credit card, which provide the same benefits and are eligible for early access to the Anniversary Sale. While your cardmember status depends on yearly spending amounts (shared below), all cardmembers automatically start at Influencer status, which means you’ll get an extra four days to shop the Sale before it opens to everyone.

Insider tips

Early access for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale begins tomorrow for Cardholders, and even I can’t stop until the 11th! The bummer is that things start selling quickly, so I have some tips!

Shop online! This is where you will find the most extensive selection!

Add to Wishlist! If you see something you love, add it to your wishlist, so the day you’re able to shop, you can immediately “add to cart”!

Add a different size! If the size you are looking for sells out in your size, add a different size to your shopping bag and check back often as things get returned and stocked! I’ve even had luck exchanging after the sale for the correct size and color.

Expedite Shipping! For $20, this bumps your order and gives you a better chance to get what you want!

When can I shop for the 2025 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?

July 1st- Online preview begins ( you can start planning and creating your wishlist)

Icons July 8th-11th -Icon Early Access. Icons spend over $15,000 per Year

Ambassadors – July 9th-11th- Ambassador early access. Ambassadors spend over $5000 per Year.

Influencers – July 10th-11th- Influencer early access. Influencers spend over $500 per Year.

Everyone – July 12th- Aug-3rd- General access non- card holders or members can shop

A new coat again, it’s the best time to pick up designer pieces that are hard to find on sale. This is this year’s pick, Ralph Lauren’s plaid cropped pea coat

Donna Karen’s cashmere deodorant.. I have used this for 30 years and just love it! 1 box lasts for the whole year! Smells great and works

A Charlotte Tilbury makeup set, I love Charlotte T, and this is one of the only times of the year to grab on sale!

The BEST moisturizing lotion by Khiels, it’s so rich and creamy, really moisturizes your skin, and again, only time of year to grab this big size at this price.

Summer is finally here, and that means summer social season as well as everyday life has us looking in our closets, wondering what we want to wear. I am always here to help you with just that. Whether it’s drawing inspiration from outfits I’ve created or helping you to find pieces that will add a fresh look to items in your closet. Affordable fashion, that is good quality for the price, is a great way to add in some wardrobe basics, seasonal pieces, and a few trending fashions at affordable prices. Summer Salad Season Crunchy Chicken – Sweet and Savory Salad

Hello Pretty Ladies,

I hope you had a great weekend. The weather in Utah has been beautiful, and we’ve been spending a lot of time outside working on Yard and Garden projects and craving salads. With that being said, for today’s “In the Kitchen with D’Arcy,” I am sharing my recipe for my Crunchy Chicken – Sweet and Savory Salad. It’s so good, the mix of crunchy Chicken and sweet pecans with the savory flavor of Blue cheese gives this mixed green and veggie salad that wow factor.

Crunchy Chicken – Sweet and Savory Salad Recipe:

2 Panko-crusted chicken breasts cut into cubes ( I use my Chicken Schnitzel recipe) (I make a couple extra that week for dinner & reserve to make this salad that week)

One Bag of mixed greens of your choice or hand chop ( I like 1 chopped romaine, 1 chopped iceberg, and a handful of spinach)

1/2 cup Green onions

1 large tomato, diced

One Carrot sliced however you like

1 cup Blue cheese crumbles

1 cup Candied pecans

Fresh pepper to taste

Balsamic glaze for drizzle

Homemade garlic croutons (I use leftover garlic bread, cut into cubes and warm in the oven until crispy)

My dressing of choice is a homemade Italian vinaigrette or balsamic vinegar; the boys prefer blue cheese dressing.

How to serve:

This salad serves four as a main course for dinner. If so, I make four salads in individual bowls by dividing the ingredients evenly. If serving as a side or taking it to a party, I add everything to a large wooden salad bowl and mix the lettuce with a good toss. Then, I layer all the ingredients except the salad dressing and let people add that to their liking.

Easy Green Onion Cheese Ball Recipe

Hello Pretty Ladies,

I hope you had a great May. Man, did it fly by so fast? Did it for you as well? I felt like I blinked and it was over. Today, I’m hopping on the blog to share one of my favorite quick and easy recipes, perfect for a quick appetizer. These are ingredients most of us have on hand, which means you can throw them together quickly if you need to take a dish to a party or serve a little something to guests who drop by.

The perfect quick Appetizer that’s sure to please every time. Even better, you can make it ahead of time, as its taste is even better.

Green Onion Cheese Ball Recipe:

1 pack of softened Cream Cheese

One cup of shredded cheddar cheese (reserve 1/4 cup to roll a ball in)

1 cup green onions (reserve 1/4 cup to roll ball in)

1/2 teaspoon Garlic Salt

Crackers of your choice (wheat thins are best), it’s a hard enough cracker to scoop up without breaking.

To create your Recipe:

In a medium-sized bowl

Use a mixer and whip up the cream cheese. When softened, add the cheese and mix until smooth. Then, add the green onion and garlic salt. Mix up.

Form into a ball, roll in the reserved green onion and cheese, place it back in the bowl, and cover. Place in the refrigerator until ready to use.

I prefer to make this a day in advance for optimal flavor.

Serve with crackers.

Great on cucumbers as well.

*Makes a great baked potato topping too

I hope you had an amazing April and that your May will be full of blessings and pretty weather. The way these Spring months are flying by, it will be the 4th of July before we know it! 1 La Croix I like lime

1 scoop collagen- I like dressing your truth by Carol Tuttle

1 scoop Chia seeds

1 cup of ice water

One cup of Ice

Stir and enjoy. If it’s too sweet, use a bigger cup and add more water. I’ll sometimes add more water as I drink.

Hello Pretty Ladies,

Can you believe we’re at the end of April and heading into May? That happened so fast! I’ve had a lot going on since the beginning of the year, and I’m finally starting to feel like I’m seeing the light. With May starting tomorrow, that means Mother’s Day is just 10 days away, on Sunday, May 11th. Two basics you’ll want to add to your wardrobe, you’ll style so many ways and wear on repeat! The prettiest shade of pink Laren button-up top in beautiful silk. Fits true to size; I am in the small. Paired with NYDJ Light wash, slightly barrel jean, the leg isn’t too barrel that it’s a great width if you’ve been wanting to try but don’t want it to be rounded-denim in a size 4, I would say, size down, these are a little too big on me, I needed the size 2.. but super comfy and a great relaxed fit. The oversized shirt boasts a stylish denim look, but it’s crafted from cool and breezy lyocell, which lends it a lightweight drape. Tailored menswear details, from a point collar to long sleeves with button cuffs to a back yoke, keep the design classic. I would Size Down in this top. Mom paired it wth these Mona Wide Leg Trouser Ankle Jeans, which also run one size smaller. She loved how comfortable this outfit is, and adored the shade of pink. It’s both our favorite color, in this shade.

It’s Sunday, which means Sunday dinners, and tonight, we’re having Smoked smash burgers with all the fixings, homemade French fries, Country beans, and Fresh fruit per Hamptons’ request. I’m sharing a recipe below for one of my favorite Margaritas and a few favorite things from the week you could have missed.

Happy National Margarita Day!

Easy Spicy jalapeño Margarita Recipe

Hudson joined me in the kitchen today to make one of our family’s favorite Margaritas.

Recipe below:

-Glass of ice

-1 shot Tequila of your choice (we like Patron or Don Julio)

-Oneshot Elevated Mixers Margarita mix

-1 shot Grand Gala is an orange brandy liqueur or Grand Marnier or Cointreau (These are better options than triple sec)

-Salt for the rim

-Lime sliced for the rim and juice

-2 Jalapeños sliced for muddling (reserve some for cocktail skewers)

-Handful of BlackBerries for muddling (reserve some for skewers)

-Blue Berries for skewers

Directions:

Rim the glass with lime and dip it into salt. Add ice and one shot of Tequila, mix, stir a lime squeeze, and drop in a couple of Jalapeños. Stir (I also like to muddle in blackberries), stir, and float with liqueur. Top with a jalapeño, blackberry, and blueberry skewer.

You can add jalapeño depending on how spicy you like your cocktail. We like it spicy. I’ll muddle 5 to 6 slices in with 1/2 a lime juice. This is when you add some blackberries as well.

Enjoy alone or with my roasted peppers, chips, salsa, and Guacamole.
