9 Looks from our Park City Girls Trip.

9 outfit inspirations you can easily copy from our girl’s trip to park city Utah Staying at Yotel Pad. Easy looks to transition into Fall, some we even styled 5 ways for you. WE enjoyed working with some amazing brands on this trip, from WHBM, Chico’s, Spanx, Print fresh, Peepers, Station Park, Evereve, and Soma. Showing our style in what we choose, from how we decided to style the pieces. We even decided to pick a couple of things the same ( Spanx jeans & Spanx leggings) and style them differently, giving you 5 ways to wear them.

Interestingly, all 5 of us wear the same size, but due to our heights and body shapes, we all wear them differently. I hope you like the style inspiration and check out all the lady’s blog posts (linked at the bottom of this post) to see how we styled differently.

Spanx Faux leather leggings are one of my favorite closet staples (size up). You can style these in so many ways. Here I styled them with a blazer, white button-up and finished with kicks. Easy to wear with an oversized sweater and boots, paired with a rocker tee and leather or denim jacket, and even with a silk blouse and heels.

Perfect with a white button-up, dressed up like above or worn with a fitted sweater. A pants we could all use in our wardrobe, and very flattering on the leg.

Sharing my TOP 5 Favorite Things each month seems to be a favorite of yours. Therefore, I love to share them with you. MY 5 Favorite Things for August! Using, Wearing, Eating.

3. A Large Fresh Green Salad, with Farm Fresh locally grown tomatoes. Nothing better than locally grown tomatoes. Cucumbers, green onion, Chicken ( I use roasted chicken store), Blue cheese crumbles with Pepper and Italian dressing. ( If I have an Avocado, I add that too)

4. Jumping for joy over this jumpsuit! Talk about easy to wear, easy to style, and perfect for travel! I have been living in it lately. Hands down one of my Favorite Things! It has a lot of fabric, so size down, Ties at the neck, and has a lower back. I am in size small. For fall, you could style with a blazer or leather jacket. Going on a Tropical Vacation? This would be darling over a swimsuit.

7 Fall Transition Looks From Evereve!

Fall Transition Looks with incorporating in some on-trend pieces for Fall 2021.

Let’s talk Evereve for a minute. Evereve is a contemporary woman’s fashion boutique geared towards moms and Midlifers who want to look Chic, feel good, and love good quality clothing. Fall Transition= It’s that time of year when we start thinking Fall. The kids are heading back to school, which means school shopping and shorter days are approaching. Finally, we get a few cooler mornings & evenings, and Summer is coming to an end. I will share some fun ways to take some of your Summer pieces and transition them into a Fall look while incorporating some Fall 2021 on-trend pieces from EverEve.

Here are a few of this year’s trends. What’s even better is they are so easy to mix & match! I incorporated:

Camo (yes, it’s still strong as well as Stars)
Cargo Pants= Jogger Style and Skinny
Cropped Cardigans with big buttons (hip bone length)

Shacket (a shirt / Jacket) This year, it’s more fitted, not as bulky

The Look above is a great casual chic look that’s easy to achieve using your Summer Camis and Denim Jacket. Worn with these darlings Camo Joggers and chunky New Balance Kicks. (I love the nubby details) STYLING TIP: Pulling the joggers up a bit makes it look weather appropriate and Chic! I can easily wear a graphic tee versus a camis.

In this look, I am wearing the same pieces as above, swapping out the denim jacket for this year’s on-trend cardigan. Note: The cardigan is hip length and has large buttons (you’ll be seeing this a lot). Adding the chunky chain mules instead of Kicks. This gives a less casual look to the joggers.

Another way to wear camo and cargo but in the skinny leg, very leg flattering if that’s one of your body features you like to focus on. (I do as my trouble area is my middle) paired with the mules again, but you could wear the Kicks if you wanted to. I liked the mules with the blazer, although blazers and tennis shoes are trending as well. Note: The Blazer is more fitted and has cute sleeve detail and collar.

Cargo loving again! This pair is a Satin finish skinny cargo, again leg flattering and very affordable. Wearing the same graphic tee, pulling out the denim jacket and the tennis shoes. Gives a totally new look, but your using your pieces multiple time. A great way to get versatility out of your clothing. Perfect pieces of packing for a trip! Shop the Look below:

Taking that Summer Tee shirt dress into Fall with Braided Booties and Shacket. The shacket has been trending for about 3 years and really came on strong last year! It was Oversized (a Jacket skirt combo) and normally bulkier. I love how this year, the trending Shacket is shorter and more fitted, a thicker flannel if you will. Shop the Look:

Days when it’s still warm enough for shorts, but you want a little cozy, Add a fun Cropped cardigan worn over a cami or tee, even wear it alone and buttoned up. (cardigans worn alone is trending) Paired with braided detail booties. It’s a fun Fall transition look. Shop the look:

Summer cropped jeans, give them a Fall update with Chunky Chain mules and a Printed leopard cardigan. So easy to wear and light enough layers, you won’t get too hot. Shop the Look:

What pieces Came home with me! Yup, I told you I never leave empty-handed! Actually, I own a version of almost all of these pieces. Like I said there easy to style, very versatile, and can be worn in many seasons. So why did I choose these 4 pieces to come home with me?

Shacket due to the new flattering styling, and I adored the color, not to mention I have a version of the dress. Joggers, I purchased the shorts and adored them all Summer, so I knew these Joggers would be a favorite. Free People gets me every time, and this chunky cropped cardigan was a piece I knew I would style on repeat. Finally, kicks…well, I am a sucker for shoes, and the details on these got me! How to know How much to Spend on the Bridal Gift

Since the bridal shower is a little more casual than the wedding, the price range is also more flexible. Spending between $30-$80 on a gift (on the lower end if you are not particularly close to the bride and higher if she is a good friend or family member). Is a normal budget. You could also join in with a friend or family member to purchase a larger gift.

One of the things I love about the season change is the NEW trends that can give your wardrobe a little refresh. It doesn’t mean you have to go out and purchases a whole new wardrobe. It means you can add some fun new pieces to what you already own to give the pieces a new FRESH look. Isn’t that one of the things we love about Spring? FRESH

Although several trends are happening this Spring, I picked 11 Spring Fashion Trends you’ll love and be able to easily add into your wardrobe without spending a lot of money. Plus a couple of easy tweaks you can incorporate to be right on-trend.

#9. Is featured HERE. High-waisted denim with a wide leg and distressed detail. This Maggie Mae jean by Free People is one of my ALL time favorite jeans. I own it in every wash. (size up due to the high waist) Easy to wear and to style.

This is one piece I would suggest you grab to give your Spring wardrobe a refresh. If white isn’t your thing, You can grab them in Denim and black denim.

#8. Stud details= Featured on the bow sandals is a cute monochromatic stud detail I adore. These popular Valentino sandals are a splurge, which I linked below. I have had a couple of seasons and adore them. I felt they were worth the Splurge, knowing I would wear them for several seasons, and the stud detail is very subtle.

#3. & #4. Killing Two birds with one stone… The shirt dress looks great on every figure. It is easy to style, can also be worn as a duster. I love it hides my tummy (my trouble area). Shop my Hat HERE

This Shirtdress also incorporates trend #4 Western-inspired with western details in the pockets detailing and buttons. The western-inspired is very easy to achieve by adding a cowboy hat, a plaid button-up, or simple western details, as shown above.

Here are a couple of subtle & easy Spring trends you can add to your Spring wardrobe…. Chunky Gold Chainlink details (shown on the bag) Pearls are ALL the rage this Spring (detail on the Sunglasses) Studded detail shown on the sandal. The Shirt Dress is making a big statement, and this one also incorporates the little western detail on the pockets. Let’s not forget about the middle part, Have been wearing a Middle part since I grew out my bangs several years ago. But this year, it’s been talked about a ton by the younger generation! they’re saying, ” You show your age with a side part and skinny jeans!” (this is a whole other subject, and I’ll go there another time!) Insert laughter!

Layered over the Shirtdress to show another way to style it is the Eyelet duster. Eyelet fabric is popping up everywhere this Spring, from Swimsuits, dresses, and denim detail.

Although this look has several Spring trends happening at once… It doesn’t scream TRENDY or overdone…. It’s ALL in how you bring the Small details together to pull the overall look off. Allowing you to be on-trend at any age.

#5 The straight leg jean… Don’t worry; the Skinny jean isn’t gone! It’s just taking a back seat to the Straight leg jean. Here I am wearing the Straight-leg jean in a mid-rise and a frayed cropped hem. I prefer the mid-rise to the high rise, as it hit me better on my body as I don’t have a waist and my trouble area is my middle. In high-rise denim, you’ll need to go up a full size, and it really does shorten my already shorter torso. And let’s Talk REAL…I don’t love what a high rise does to my already flat butt:(!

All my height comes in my legs. I am 5’9 1/2 for reference and wear a size 6 to 8, depending on the jean. In this case, it’s the brand Level 99 denim, and these are a size 28 (let’s face it, my size also depends on my fluctuating weight of 10-15 pounds!) THANKS, Midlife, and menopause!

A couple of reasons it’s great to own a straight leg. They look great with the on-trend clog sandals. As skinny jeans could give you that elf effect 🙂 ( Insert Giggle), They really flatter the leg and add a longer leg appearance. And they look great with tops tucked in to show off your waist! Can I say, “Pull out your BELTS!”

By some of my personal brand favorites. These are brand favorites because they fit so many body types, have great stretch, wear fab. These are some of my go-to jeans for styling clients and what I purchase. Brands like Kut from the Kloth, Not Your Daughters Jeans, Madewell, and Level 99. (some say HIGH rise but trust me, I tried on or own, and they are ALL mid-rise on me)

It’s a great way to help you create outfits fast and use pieces in your closet you forget about. Creating Valentin’s outfits can be as easy as grabbing your red and pink items and adding fun accessories. I’ve shown below outfit creations from old pieces I’ve collected over the years and added new pieces. These outfits were created to be easy for you to copy by shopping items in your own closet. October Fall Favorites: Fashion & Home

Sharing with you some of the things that have been favorites for years and some added new ones to make this Fall the best yet. It’s no secret Fall is my favorite season, with Summer running a close second. October is my Birthday month, and I trust me. I have no problem celebrating it all month long. I’ve been sharing all my favorite things to do, eat, and wear as part of my celebrating in my Instagram stories and my feed. Each season I add some new pieces to my wardrobe, as I am sure you do too. I like to add pieces that work well with items I already own and pieces that I happened to be purchasing, which is a great little wardrobe capsule. The pieces I purchased this year here on the rack happened to all work together perfectly for mixing and matching. You could literally pack all these pieces for a trip and be set for any activity. This year I decorated my back deck. See all the photo’s on my Instagram HERE. We sit on our back deck a lot for Coffee in the Am to cocktails in the evening. So I decided, Why not Decorate for my Favorite time of the year back there as well. Let me tell you; it has been one of my October Fall Favorites! Shop the photo HERE

Fall Decorating to dress up the front porch entryway. I can’t pass up a pumpkin or mums this time of the year. Seriously kept adding until I can add no more…then I move to a new place I can add. I love grabbing the large potted mums at Costco as they’re a steal at $14, and if Costco has pumpkins, it’s great to grab those there as well, normally flat $5 same with Target $5 for any size med or large. For the specialty White, Cinderella, I grab at the Pumpkin patch, well, because I need to go to the pumpkin patch every year! It’s one of my October favorite things for sure.

Fall Favorite Foods:

The taste of the season is definitely all things pumpkin. Pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin scones, pumpkin chocolate chip cookies (my easy chocolate chip Pumpkin cookie recipe link below), Of course, Apple pie and yummy soups and bread always hit the spot on chilly cold Fall day’s. If you watch my Instagram stories you would have seen my whitening experience (saved in highlights) No more blue lights, they use the latest technology not painful and the sweetest & knowledgeable staff. I had my teeth cleaned & then whitened. This was my first time having my teeth professionally whitened as I am lucky to have pretty white teeth. Even still I wanted them bright white and sparkly since I have my photos taken so often. Like I have always said”a smile can make someone’s day so do it often!” (so I’ll blind them with mine! I can’t tell you how proud I am of this boy of ours, it was like yesterday he was 3 & now 23! He’s such a delight, so smart a family lover and truly a good kid! We’re proud of the man he’s becoming and thankful we can call him ours♥️♥️♥️

When’s the last time you hand wrote a letter or card and sent it snail mail? For me… I still write hand written Thank you notes, Birthday & Holiday cards. I really feel it’s important and more meaningful then a text or email. I created this space to have a little of the inside brought out💛💛I adore black and white stripes and I think it pops with a touch of yellow and green! Tips for making your outdoor space inviting: throw pillows, a blanket for chilly nights, pots of flowers and plants, trays for serving and keeping things tidy. I love rugs to add color and define spaces, candles and lanterns for lighting (and keeping bugs away) I love some books or magazines to entice you to stay awhile 💛💛💛
Another big tip is if you furniture is mix & match spray paint it all 1 color to give it a cohesive look. It instantly makes it look more planned 😉
