We are here, the Busiest time of the year, and I am here to help! Are you already planning, decorating, and shopping yet? I am a little behind my standard time frame this year. I’ll have my House decorated by the weekend. I’ve been sharing some ideas and tips over on Instagram to help inspire you. I am working on my Dining room and creating a tablescape as I write this, and I can’t wait to share it with you. Hoping it will help you find the inspiration to make yours. Easy Apple Cider Donut Recipe

Hello Pretty Ladies,

Happy Sunday! I hope you are having a great start to November. I truly can’t believe how Fast it’s flying by, how is it already November 9th?

Today, I am sharing a quick and easy recipe my family loves. Apple Cider Donuts scream Fall, and this recipe is so easy. A boxed cake mix and a few ingredients to make a great apple cider donut, you and your family will all love. Perfect for a slow weekend morning. Easy Apple Cider Donut Recipe

EASY APPLE CIDER DONUTS RECIPE

Ingredients:

One box spice cake mix (15.25 oz)

1/2 cup apple sauce

Reduce 2 cups of apple cider on the stove until about 1 cup remains

Instructions:

1 Preheat oven to 350°F

and grease a donut pan. Mix the cake mix with applesauce & the reduced Apple cider.

Spoon or pipe batter into the pan about ⅔ full.

Bake 15-18 minutes, until donuts spring back when touched. (Left mine for about 17 mins)

OPTIONAL:

While still warm, brush donuts with melted butter or apple cider, then roll in Cinnamon & Sugar

Can you believe we’re already in the last week of October? Fall this year went by in warp speed. It’s no secret that it’s my favorite season, and it just goes by faster and faster every year. I really enjoy taking in all the moments, colors, tastes, scents, and activities of the season. With that said, I had fun creating this Fall tablescape at the beginning of the season. To me, this tablescapes in volkes everything beautiful about the fall season.

The statement pieces of this fall tablescape are these gorgeous Handmade Velvet pumpkins, with real stems, created by Hot Skwash. They create beautiful Velvet fruits and vegetables to use all year long for your home decorating needs.

Today I am chatting with you about A Place for Mom. One of the things about midlife we don’t talk about often is becoming caregivers for our parents, which can be hard to navigate.

Many of you know we lost my stepdad in January. He was the only grandfather my boys knew on my side and had been with my mom for 22 years. They live in Las Vegas, with no family living close by. I live in Utah, and my siblings live in California. This meant our mom was alone, with no family or husband. We had to act quickly to help my mom relocate, deal with family affairs, her health issues, and the emotions of the loss. I found out about A Place for Mom a couple of months after, having to navigate this part of midlife that nobody talks about enough. I thought this info needed to be shared as it could help someone else dealing with this in the upcoming months.

Navigating Care

When my stepdad passed away, I suddenly found myself navigating care decisions for my mom, and I had nowhere to start. I now had to make fast decisions about what to do. I will not only take care of my dad’s last days and business affairs but also relocate my mom to Tuah to be closer to family. Although my mom can live and function on her own and she still has specific home needs as well as medical care.

Can you believe we are headed back to school already? Where did summer go? I used to think it flew by when my kids were little, and I feel like as I’ve gotten older, it flies by even faster. Whether you are a teacher or have an office career, I’ve put together 8 outfits you could easily wear for any type of professional job, meetings, or coffee dates. These outfits are mostly made up of great wardrobe/classic pieces, which you’ll be able to wear on repeat and build your wardrobe off of. Great essentials are a necessity for creating easy, go-to outfits.

This Season’s Hottest Fall Updates and Trending Accessories, a Perfect & affordable way to give your wardrobe a little update. Here are a few of the things I am noticing:) & What I’ve been Fall Trend spotting. Mixing Affordable finds with classic wardrobe staples to refresh your Fall wardrobe. Think Layers, classic Ralph Lauren, Rich fabrics, wool, tweeds, plaid, Cable knit sweaters, mixed with denim, and suede. The English countryside sets the stage for this year’s classic fall, adding in that East Coast Preppy vibe. Take these classic wardrobe basics and mix in this season’s hot colors and accessories. It is a great way to elevate any outfit this Fall.
