Hello Pretty Ladies,

Happy Mother’s Day! I hope you have a beautiful day being celebrated. Today, I’m sharing what I’ll wear to church and brunch with the family, along with a little Mother’s Day message.

My greatest accomplishment is the family we’ve built. Not only the children I birthed, whom I am so proud of and thank God every day for. But also the home we opened up to others. The family came from friends, and the children we’ve been so blessed to have.

A Family is something you build, not something you’re given. Having a whole home, feeding others, opening our hearts, and being a safe space brings immense joy. I am grateful every day for those in our lives and a part of our “FAMILY,” it makes my mama heart happy🤍🤍🤍

Mother’s Day can be hard for some, with their mamas no longer with them or having difficulty becoming one on their own🙏🏻🤍 My heart goes out to you! You’ll be in my prayers🙏🏻

1 La Croix I like lime

1 scoop collagen- I like dressing your truth by Carol Tuttle

Hello Pretty Ladies,

Can you believe we’re at the end of April and heading into May? That happened so fast! I’ve had a lot going on since the beginning of the year, and I’m finally starting to feel like I’m seeing the light. With May starting tomorrow, that means Mother’s Day is just 10 days away, on Sunday, May 11th. Tailored menswear details, from a point collar to long sleeves with button cuffs to a back yoke, keep the design classic. I would Size Down in this top. As the weather gets warmer and spring rolls in, it’s always a good idea to switch things up and refresh your lifestyle. It can be something as simple as brightening up the dining table with a new springtime appetizer, such as tulip baguette bites. A previous post guides you through this easy-to-follow recipe that requires a few simple ingredients, including French baguette, cherry tomatoes, basil, chives, and spreadable cheese.

Aside from introducing new additions to your menu, springtime presents the perfect opportunity to update your wardrobe. To start, you can experiment with the latest spring dress trends, ranging from a cherry red palette as a fashion statement to boho chic vibes characterized by flowy fabrics, ruffles, and fringes.

Whatever trend you plan to incorporate into your everyday look, it goes without saying that a spring outfit wouldn’t be complete without footwear. Shoes not only enhance your style but also serve a practical purpose for comfort, so here are footwear options that balance fashion and function and are worth adding to this season’s wardrobe.

Leather sandals

If you’ve become tired of wearing thick, chunky shoes during winter to protect your feet and trudge through the snow, it’s time to let your toes breathe by wearing leather sandals. While sandals have always been a warm-weather staple, you can elevate your style for springtime by looking into different leather finishes, straps, and cutouts.

QVC’s curated shoes section has a wide range of chic sandals to choose from, such as Clarks Footwear’s Laurieann Bell, which features a round toe and an adjustable strap for lightweight and comfortable wear. Ballet flats

Ballet flats are expected to be the it-shoe of 2025, especially with luxury brands like Alaïa and Gucci releasing their own takes on the classic flats for their spring/summer 2025 collections. Whether you opt for Alaïa’s bejeweled flats or Gucci’s strapped styles, these shoes are a must-have since they’re versatile and can be styled with wide-legged trousers, denim jeans, and slips and dresses.

However, if you’re planning to be out and about this spring, it’s worth considering the ballet flats from luxury label Patou’s collaboration with Japanese sportswear brand Onitsuka Tiger. The flats blend Patou’s distinctive feminine style with the sleek playfulness of Onitsuka Tiger sneakers. Made of Nappa leather and available in a pink and black colorway, these shoes are ideal for springtime walks around the neighborhood.

Kitten heels

Lastly, those looking to add a more feminine touch to their wardrobes can opt for kitten heels, which help you look equally chic and comfortable with the slender, low-mid heel. Like the aforementioned sandals and ballet flats, kitten heels have been around for decades, popularized by the French fashion house Dior.

However, they’ve emerged in modern, reimagined styles in recent years, as seen in celebrities like Ariana Grande and Sydney Sweeney. Grande wore her white kitten heels with a bow detail and lacy tights, while Sweeney looked effortlessly stylish in a casual tee, mini skirt, and open-toed kitten heels from Miu Miu. You may also find affordable options of this side-walk friendly heel on Charles & Keith, with their contemporary designs ranging from thong sandals to slingback Mary Janes.

Denim skirts in mid-length and knee-length have been trending for the last couple of seasons; I couldn’t find the right one until now. Chicos hit the mark with this one. This seaseason’sam detail is part of what makes this skirt unique, along with a two-tone denim wash, a front slit, and a great fit, snug in all the right places yet comfortable for a figure-flattering fit. You can style this skirt in so many ways, from cowgirl chic to a sporty weekend outfit or for brunch, like I have styled today.

Three Ways to Style Floral Pants

Hello Pretty Ladies,

Today’s a fun day on the blog. Not only is it Way to Wear Wednesday, but it’s also the last Wednesday of the month, which means it’s also a blog hop day. Today, the ladies are sharing all things Springs. I can’t wait to read all the ladies’ blogs this morning, see what they’re focusing on, and share with the Spring theme. Three Ways to Style Floral Pants this Spring. Floral prints aren’t something new for Spring, but how we style the print can be fresh, finding a fun floral pattern that grabs your attention and finding a floral print on something you might not already own in a floral print. In my case, it was jeans.

I found these beautiful Leon Double Hem High-Rise Wide-Leg Cuffed Jeans by Pilcro: Floral Edition, and as soon as I laid eyes on them, I knew they had to be mine. Not having anything like them in my wardrobe. I am not a big floral pattern girl, and it is hard to believe. You would think I would own a ton of florals, but I don’t own a lot of prints. I love floral prints and patterns but always buy Stripes and checks.

This pair of The Leon Double Hem High-Rise Wide-Leg Cuffed Jeans by Pilcro: Floral Edition Is calling my name, too. It is the color pallet I am most drawn to: Neutrals.

Today, I am sharing Three Ways to Style these Floral Pants.

First Way to Style Floral Pants

This is probably one of my favorite Spring outfits. I can’t wait for the weather to allow me to wear it. Second Way to Style Floral Pants

Spring in Utah requires a sweater—or, as we say in the styling world, “a third piece.” The Cashmere Quince button-up cardigan is so cozy and soft. Tucking in a cardigan is an excellent trick for giving your sweaters a fresh look. This is a great everyday Spring look. Third Way to Style Floral Pants

Pull the beautiful shade of blue out of the floral print by pairing it with a Blue faux leather jacket. Mine is a Charlie B, and Madison Maison slides in the same shade. Keeping it neutral with a mocha long-sleeve crew neck. Silver is making a strong appearance this Spring, and I am here for it. I love this silver, and I wear silver hoops and a Kendra Scott necklace.

They are separate, and you can mix and match them throughout the seasons. I love Classic pieces to build your wardrobe…pieces that can take you into Spring, mixing and matching with pieces you already own, yet can also take you into other seasons.
